BabyWiccan.com - Sexy Nomad is also a baby wiccan who practices modern witchcraft. She is not only a traveler, a bookworm, an entrepreneur and a fashionista. She is attuned to the other side too! And as such, she goes by the words of her two most favorite modern day witches, Athena Starwoman and Deborah Gray (1996) … “Believe in yourself and in the absolute power of love.”

ImaSexyBookworm - If dogs are most people’s best friends, mine are books…That’s my take on these creative   products of imagination.

From the way they smell right off the bookshelves, to the way they make my heart glow every time I purchase one… I just love books! I actually smell them first before and after buying them. How I wish I can just read them all every waking hour.

And so on those moments that I actually have the time to immerse myself in a parallel universe and be a different me, I feel the need to document whatever it was that I felt and thought as I traverse each of their magical pages. I also like to put in some references for my own satisfaction. So to those who want to take a peek in my journey, feel free to do so. Your comments are most welcomed as well.

KickingPinay.blogspot.com - Behind the free-spirited personality of Sexy Nomad is a very inquisitive girl who never fails to first seek happiness within before trotting about without. Kicking Pinay is the other side of Sexy Nomad. ”It is possible for you to do whatever you choose, if you first get to know who you are and are willing to work with a power that is greater than ourselves to do it.” — Oprah Winfrey, Kicking Pinay’s ultimate idol.

SexyNomad.com - I started this blog in 2006 (formerly sexynomad.i.ph) when I was still a twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult  life’s journeys.

They say that the happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream,  go where I want to go and be what I want to be. We only have this one life to do what realy matters.

Feel free to take a peek at my journey… come share my happiness with me.

SexyNomadProjects.com - I used to love making New Year’s resolutions. Unfortunately, I never seem to follow through my list. This blog hopes to end that. This will detail my journey on artsy and crafty projects I’ve always wanted to do, be it soap making, drawing, sewing, planting, concocting spa products, beading, paper crafting, etc. Join me as I try to rediscover my passions in spite of my very hectic work schedule.

SexyNomnom.com - This blog journals Sexy Nomad’s and Adam Mordo’s food experiences inside and outside of the house while TRYING to maintain healthy eating habits.

StyledLife.info - I like documenting my look coz I hate being caught wearing same exact getup twice. This allows me to look at my past attires so I can mix and match my apparel and come up w/ something I’m comfy with. Hence, the Sexy Nomad’s own fashion journal. It features my own sense of fashion and style. Sometimes, if I feel like it, I’d include some posts about vanity products and celebrities I like (or don’t like). You’re welcome to take a peek, but no judgment please.

TheFrugalicious.com    I realize that I get my best ideas when I’m traveling. Most of my creative inspirations come from nature, most especially the beach and this is where I sell them.

i.PH blogging platform shutting down

December 29, 2011

Is i.PH shutting down? This is the question that I’ve asked Peter before since Ade told him about it several months ago. I finally had the answer straight from the owner of the i.PH blogging platform himself, Mr. Joel Disini, when Peter and I met him while shopping for kayaks here in Alabang.

he said that he will be closing down i.ph soon so it would be best for me to start copy pasting all my posts and blog files. I couldn’t believe it. He said i.ph is no longer making profit and he’s giving us bloggers around 6 months before it fully shuts down.

I know that i.ph is far from perfect and there are other better blogging platforms out there, but i.ph is my home. And now my home is slowly getting wrecked. It’s so heartbreaking.

Anyway, I am slowly transfering my posts to my sexynomad.com blog. Since I’m doing it manually as there is no other way to transfer my posts, it’s going to take some time. I may not be able to transfer everything, just those personal posts I consider really important.

Nevertheless, thank you i.ph for your awesome service all these years. I hope I’ll be able to let you go in peace.

How to Successfully Use Payday Loans - a Guest Post

December 21, 2011
There are so many people who use payday loans without really thinking about what this type of loan could do to their finances. Payday loans could cause the borrower to go into a vicious cycle of debt that can be very difficult to get out of. If you have considered all of your options, and a payday loan is your only way out, you should still take some factors into consideration and think about your financial future before you borrow. With the right strategy, you can successfully pay off your payday loan and prove that anyone can use a payday loan wisely.

Shop around and ask questions

There are lots of options for payday loans today. There are hundreds of stores across the country, and even more companies offering payday loans online. It is very important that you shop around for the best interest rates and ask questions about the company you are considering. Read reviews to see if the company is trustworthy, and find out if there are any hidden terms and/or fees for your loan. Read all of the fine print on your contract, and make sure you find the best deal for you.
