First Vita Plus Questions… Answered.

I’ve been meaning to post here some Vita Plus related concerns. But due to the fact that I’ve been working round the clock to bring in more income for me and our family especially at this time of calamity and crisis, I didn’t have the time to do so.

Below are the answers to those questions related to what Vita Plus really contains and what Vita Plus really does. Please read on…

- The nutritional info at the back of every health product here in our country is made by DOST’s Food and Nutrition Research Institute. They put the nutrients they find based on their own research. The reason why many of  Vita Plus health drink’s vitamins and minerals are not listed there is because aside from the fact that many of these vitamins and minerals are water soluble, there are just too many of them. This is also why, if  you notice, at the bottom of that white nutritional info box at the back of the sachet, it says “For complete nutritional benefits, see product brochure/literature.”

- For those looking or asking where does it say that malunggay, talbos ng kamote, dahon ng sili, saluyot and kulitis (or uray or Pinoy spinach) are part of the ingredients, it is there on the sachet. It’s just not written using the terms or vernaculars we know. Because First Vita Plus is marketed worldwide, it is important that the scientific names of these vegetables be used instead. If you notice at the left side of the sachet, it says “From selected premium leaves of Moringa, Corchorus, Capsicum, Amaranthus, and Ipomoea, packed to meet your daily requirements of vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, anti-oxidants and immunity enhancing phytochemicals.”

Below are the corresponding vernaculars of these scientific names:

The sugar used in Vita Plus is not your usual refined sugar type (which is one of the ingredients of the top 5 cancer-causing foods). Notice how lethargic you feel after eating donuts and cookies. - The term power herbs was coined for marketing purposes because in the health and/or medical industry, vegetable is not recognized as a means for healing. - On the packet, it says 400 calories per 100g…and packet size is 22g.  So is each sachet  is 88 calories?  Yes, the math is right.  If this seems high, don’t fret coz these calories come from fiber content and sucralose (which according to wikipedia is a zero calorie sugar) which are both healthy and easily metabolized. There are others who had they fair share of negative experiences with the product. August’s Simple Pleasures

I just had my period and as you all know, when this happens, hormones are really going haywire for many women like me. However, I am thankful that my menstrual cycle seems to be getting more and more regular (I used to have it just thrice or twice a year…yeah, it’s really crazy) but I believe my veggie juice is helping me out in that department. I had my period last month then this month and hopefully I’ll have it again next month and the months thereafter… So anyway, I was hormonal and I felt like I may be on the verge of burning out these days. And when I start to feel this way, I stop, review what’s been happening in my life and reassses if I should refocus and reprioritize. I guess I just needed to reaffirm myself that I am still able to enjoy myself despite the busyness of my very blessed life. Being a visual kind of person (as evidenced by this blog being full of pictures), one of the things I do to make myself feel better is to look at our old and recent photo albums.  That’s when I realize that despite my back to back jobs, biz and other activities,  I am still able to enjoy my life once in a while…. that there are still moments when I am just simply enjoying life’s little pleasures… Like last month for instance:

 At the top left photo, our front yard just used to be a vacant two-car garage with a bit of grass and plants at the side (July 2007). Then on the top right photo, as you can see, we had the inner garage transformed into a lanai (Dec. 2007). As the months passed and considering that we’re doing the household chores ourselves these days, I had the front yard cemented with rocks and pebbles. It was such a blessing! Coz not only did it become easier for us to clean the front yard, the neighborhood kids also stopped loitering on our property. I guess they were intimidated by the scary surface. Teehee.

 This was taken last August 30, when we got home from the 3-day Vita Plus Success Camp. It was pretty late but Peter was so kind enough to prepare some pasta dish for us. We were also able to open our bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon (despite our missing cork screw) which we shared with our friends (Jerry, Kuya Jom, She, Ces and She’s GF) . I missed our house so much that the sight of our old Christmas lights and my drums made me feel right at home and  peaceful again. ^_^

This was taken last August 31. Peter and I ran a couple of errands that day from The Fort to meet up with Pau, to Commonwealth Ave. in QC to Congressional  also in QC. It’s just good to know that despite the pace of our life, we can still stop and “smell the flowers” so to speak. We can still enjoy a good conversation with our friend Pau, we can still enjoy a good meal at one of our favorite coffee places, Figaro, and we can still meet up with people who are close to us like Gab, peter’s first cousin. Life is beautiful and I’m thankful that I am still able to enjoy some of life’s simple pleasures. AMEN!

Recent Financial and Personal Accomplishments

Yeah, after only 6 weeks of doing one of my passions, I wasn’t only successful in spreading health, wellness and extra energy among  some people in my social network, friends and family but I’ve also earned Php50, 175.00 total. WOW!!! That is some serious money. And I haven’t even really worked hard for it yet. All I did was just share my experiences the way I know how — through blogging, microblogging and chatting most of the time. I figured, since I blog about so many other things, places, products and services, why not share about the most influential thing in my life right now,  which is First Vita Plus, right? So that’s just what I did.

For someone like me, who until now, still don’t know the name of my neighbors and who is so busy with other things (I have 2 VA jobs… I let go of my 3rd one just so I can still do VTRs, acting, my nail art and lingerie biz on the side, plus do household chores and sleep!), the Vita Plus Biz is really the way to go if you want to earn some real money while advocating health at the same time. I wasn’t able to catch when it was shown coz like I said, I was busy with work. And when Unang Hirit airs every morning from 6-9am, that is usually  my crunch time at work. Anyway, I did get calls from people inquiring about my nail art biz so I guess it already got aired.

The rest of the week was just spent doing the laundry, cleaning the house, juggling two jobs at night and sending Vita Plus packages to people who would like to lose weight, get healthy, be more energized and basically improve their well-being. It’s a good thing that xendexpress.com’s courier goes to our house every time there’s a package that needs to be delivered. Otherwise, I wouldn’t really have the time on a weekday.

And oh, I met an American author online… His name is Dennis Hambright. He is based in Texas and is interested to try the Vita Plus juice drink, as well as bring the networking business there. But the thing that really made me say OMG was when he told me that he reads my blog and that he’ll send me a signed copy of his latest book, MERCENARY INTENT! This is so awesome! I never had an author personally send me a copy of his book before! I’m truly honored! Thanks  again,  Dennis!!! *blush*

Then my entire Saturday was spent at Vita Plus (coz honestly, that’s the only time I can really take care of the business) —  meeting for the first time my bookworm reader who got so interested with my blog post on HAPPINESS NOW, one of my favorite books written by Andrew Matthews, that he asked me if he can xerox my book… so I met him in person this afternoon while getting my Vita Plus checks and free  juice products. I also got to talk to “almost millionaires”, those people in my network who are now earning P100,00  a week!  And then I got to share the Vita Plus experience, their products and the business to new and old friends as well. Coz if I can do it by doing almost nothing for the business and earning this much, then I bet a lot of other people can do it better and earn more than me. My goal is to just spread the good news to everybody because this can be  one of the ways people can have better and healthier lives  for themselves and their families. Thanks to my very supportive  team of uplines, they are making everything so easy for me and my downlines as well.   

Speaking of old friends, we also met  up with Tahnee at Dolci Divino, a new gelato cafe serving Italian food just behind Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Ortigas. It was such a fun girl bonding experience.  My mentor, Jerry Jimenez joined us too. Oh, did I tell you that he gave me an exciting assignment for this week? And that is to start and finish reading Napoleon Hill’s book: THINK AND GROW RICH. Yeah, I can’t wait! I’ll start later at the beach! We then headed to La Vista to visit Tita Tess for my lingerie stock and see Lora who just got back home from Jakarta. It was such a productive and profitable day fo me and Peter!  I’m still so energized until now that I just have to blog about my week before I catch some major zzzzs and enjoy the rest of my long weekend. ^_^

Michael Jackson’s This is It!

I stopped crying for Michael Jackson for a while now. I figured that after everything that he went through, he’s now in a much  better place… right next to God… together with His angels and saints. But when my long time friend Jojay posted this video on facebook, tears flooded my eyes again. I just miss him and I feel the loss of the billions of people who ache for him as well.

Through Michael’s life, I am reminded that life is so short and precious. We are only given this one chance to make a difference somehow. Michael was very blessed to have that one unique talent and charisma that can never be paralleled in this lifetime. But maybe, just ,maybe, in our own little ways, we can make a difference too.

In my own recent life, ever since his death last June 25 (my husband’s birthday at that), he inspired me (and continues to do so) to go on with the things I do. I’m only human and sometimes I do get down and weak too. But every time I think of Michael and the impact he has done on the lives of many people, I get a surge of energy to just keep on going. He is actually one of the greatest inspirations why I am doing Vita Plus. It may not be through music but like him, in my own way, thru my own God-given talents, I want to bring blessings and hope to other people too by offering them a concrete chance to better health and and better lives. 

Yes, once in a while, we still do eat junkfood. Thankfully, with Vita Plus juice drink, our good health and desired weight are maintained and we don’t feel as bloated and sluggish after eating so much chips, chocoalates, ice cream , choco chip cookies and drinking lots of cocktails and rootbeer. I even lost a pound when I woke up the next day. ^_^

So cheers to Michael Jackson and the inspiration he has brought to my life!  I can’t wait to watch your movie on October 28!

A Deeper Look into First Vita Plus Marketing Plan

 I had my first dibs at networking at the age of 19. I was in 3rd year college then and all I wanted was to earn extra money so I can at least eat a decent meal during lunch break. You can ask Peter… I used to be so thin and my classmates at Ateneo thought I was just too conscious of my figure. What they didn’t know was that my allowance was just enough for my fare and I really couldn’t afford anything sold in our canteen. I had to scrimp on my allowance by buying a loaf of bread and two cans of tuna and that would be my baon for one whole week. So when I first found out about this great system, I immediately dabbled in it. Considering that I was very active in school organizations plus I had a scholarship to maintain, I really couldn’t prioritize my network. But I did earn some money. At the end of that year, I was even able to buy an abs sculptor and a nice Sony cassette player.  The MLM system really worked. In fact, it was my thesis when I hit my senior year. Had I been a lot more active with it, I could’ve been one of the top earners already. Then of course school requirements got a lot heavier and I had to think about finding a real job plus the heavy pressures from my grandparents were weighing down on me. I stopped my MLM biz.

Years went by and I got to know other networks but none of them really enticed me nor peaked my interest. Last June,I was invited to go to a Nu Skin event. I even brought my mom with me. I enjoyed the presentation, I learned a lot about the law of leveraging and I was thinking of signing up but it just didn’t feel right for me. For one, their products were way too expensive for my taste and I figured, their products are only for a certain niche. I needed a business that can be for everyone, for the public mass even coz that’s where the money is.

So I explored my other options…looked into the food cart businesses. But even that will only earn me Php15,000/month at the most and ROI will take about 6 months to 1 year depending on my location. And even then, I’d have to shell out at least Php70,000 for the initial franchise fee plus more for overhead costs and salary of my employee. It’s a lot of work and headache. I practically gave up, just focused on my virtual assistant jobs, acting and other small time biz (like the nail art machine and Victoria’s Secret lingerie). Then one day, after I did a voice file for Ad Farm with my co-actors, I got to know an MLM biz with the most perfect marketing plan I’ve ever seen — the marketing plan of First Vita Plus.

According to Jerry, 60-70% of First Vita Plus top earners are graduates of the Success Camp. Jerry came from Batch 19, he is my co-actor and is just doing this business part-time. He has no other job  apart from his TV commercials (you might recognize him from one of those Talk and Text commercials and print ads) and his wife  is a full time homemaker. They have only been doing this business for one year and 7 months now. When I met him last July 23, he has already been earning Php40,000per week. Just two weeks ago, his weekly checks have quadrupled and he is now earning Php150,000-P170,000 per week! I was really amazed. I got to ride his brand new Ford Escape and together with his wife, they’ve already purchased a condo unit in Cubao. And this is all because of First Vita Plus. He previously worked as a bartender in Dubai for 9 years because he thought that’s where the money is but still, he wasn’t able to attain the financial freedom he wanted. August 28, 29 and 30 came. I went to the Success Camp with one of my best gal pals, Cecille. She also joined the business and together, we plan to conquer the world so to speak! The camp was held at Yahweh’s Hot Spring Resort in Pansol, Laguna and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re familiar with the Management  Development Program (MDP) I took in GSIS for six months before, this is even better! Our main speaker was Sonny Quina, an architect by profession who has lived a good life for several years in Kuwait back in the 90’s until the cold war hit and came back home penniless and jobless. He has been in this kind of business for 15 years now, most of which were spent with Forever Living. But when he saw how the marketing plan of Vita Plus far outweighs that of  the other company, he focused his energies here and is now earning more than Php1,000,000 per month and his influence and network just keeps on growing!

Our first day at the camp was just rest and recreation. We met a lot of both old and new business associates. In particular, we met Jeff Guttierrez, one of Vita Plus’ speakers in the Business Development Forum. He has been in the business for two years now, but he joined the camp  just last August. His rationale was like this: “Two years na  ako sa Vita, pero stuck pa rin sa Php100,000 per week ang check ko samantalang yung iba, like Jerry, pumapalo na sa Php170,000p per week and yung iba mas malaki pa. Ano ba talaga  meron ang campers? Bakit nagiging successful talaga sila?” Jeff first joined First Vita Plus while he was in Kuwait working as an overseas Filipino worker. He wasn’t really minding the biz. It just so happened that the first few people he partnered with were very passionate about the business. After one year, he went back to the Philippines for a vacation only to find out that his weekly Vita Plus checks were even bigger than his monthly salary in Kuwait! He immediately filed for resignation and since then, has been doing this business full time.

Basically, the success camp taught us all (and continues to teach us) how to keep our focus, maintain our drive and fulfill our respective vision for ourselves and our family. Most importantly, It taught us to be humble so we can receive more blessings.

Just think about it… many of the people who succeeded in this business were high school dropouts, technicians, janitors.. those who didn’t really achieve much in life but are now enjoying abundance. Why? Because they’ve already been humbled in their past experiences.  Unlike a typical person who finished college, or someone who went on to get an MA, a Ph.D., or an MD and whatnot, only to work as an employee, living from one small paycheck to another, waiting for a promotion or other better opportunities abroad but never really achieving their dream salary and dream life.  Yet, they are the ones with a lot of pride kasi nga naman, “pinag aral ako ng nanay at tatay ko tapos mag gagaganyan lang ako?“ You know why I know? Because I used to be that kind of person. I used to be very skeptical and full of pride.  I thought so highly of myself. I was a scholar my entire life and in good schools at that (Kinder at St. Matthew’s Academy, Elementary at St. Scholastica’s, High School at Lourdes College, took up A.B. Psychology at Ateneo where I was a consistent dean’s lister. I finished 12 units of Development Communication in U.P. Diliman for a Masters degree that I’ve decided to forego ). May pinag-aralan ako. But how come these people are earning hundreds of thousands and even millions of pesos per month while the highest pay I got was only Php100,000 when I used to be a 20-hour virtual  assistant for a real estate CEO in Texas? And even then, I couldn’t even eat and take a bath because most of my time was taken up being a virtual slave to a foreign boss. Eventually, after doing that kind of job for eight months, I quit. Then recession hit and I found out later on that many of the virtual assistants in that company got laid off. Tsk, tsk.  Even if I was already earning big before the recession,  and it was a lot better than my 6 years in GSIS, it still wasn’t the quality of life I envisioned for myself. I want a life full of abundance and happiness.  And I believe that whatever I want, I will get if I take action. Then I met First Vita Plus. I knew then that this was God’s answers to my wishes. And that’s when this new way of life started.

Back at the camp, I met some self-made millionaires. My ultimate idol was of course JR Colina, a former janitor who worked for PGH for 15 years. I rarely get star struck. Even when I work alongside Showbiz personalities, I don’t get motivated to have my photo taken with them. Parang ang baduy kasi. But with JR, when I first saw him, I really ran and pushed my way amidst the crowd of people gathering around him and having his photo taken too! I seemed like a die-hard fan so to speak. Hehehe.

JR’s life had a rather tragic past. Like I said, he worked as a janitor for PGH for 15 years. He was a only earning Php6,000/month at that time and his take home pay was only Php500.00.  The apartment they were renting caught fire and life has been hard for them. When he got to know about Vita Plus, he quit his job, invested his entire savings and from there grew his business. It was hard. Even his wife couldn’t accept what he did.  But he persevered. His foremost connections were doctors, of course. But how can a janitor convince doctors about the benefits of this herbal product, right? For the information of everyone, herbs are not being tackled heavily in med school. So it’s somewhat of an alien concept to them. After a lot of hard work, one doctor tried the product, was amazed that her patients got cured and strengthened by it, joined his network and eventually  got serious about the business. Her name is Dr. Mayla Madrigal of UP-PGH. Like JR, she is also a millionaire now and is one of the speakers doing health symposium for the company every Monday. It’s really amazing!

Though JR is my idol, I fully resonated with Desiree Go. She’s a graduate of Philippine Science and U.P. Diliman. Based on these credentials, we know for sure that she’s one smart girl. She used to be an employee for Canon for 9 years, working as a supervisor for the Luzon Group. She had a very stable job, was even sent abroad several times by the company and was frequently featured in newspapers every time Canon had a new product lineup. Yet, her credit card bills kept ballooning and she knew that even if she gets promoted again, she will never really attain the kind of financial freedom she wanted. When she first got to know Vita Plus, she only did it part time. After work, she commuted to the former Tektite office of Vita Plus, attended forums and talks, kept learning about the business and kept telling people all about it. Basically, she just copied what other people in the biz are doing. After all, this biz is a a business of duplication, of leveraging other people. Now, her credit card bills have long been gone, she has already purchased two high end cars (one for her dad and one for her), bought an expensive condo unit and for the past two months, have earned Php800,000 to Php1Million a month! Who would’ve thought that this could be possible? Even the best Jollibee branch in the country is only earning a net of Php300,000 per month!

There were other self-made and would-be millionaires I met on my final night at the camp. One was an RTC Judge (Judge Toneth Magturo), a doctor, a lawyer, a policeman, a high school drop out, a magtataho, and the top earner for last month, also earning Php2Million++ per month — Shirley de Guzman, a single gal who’s only 27 years old. And she’s pretty too! Pwede na sha bumili ng lalaki na gusto nya. Any bidders? Kidding!

Anyway, the camp really got me fired up. I was so fired up that Peter will be joining the 27th batch this coming Oct2-4. Those who are interested, even if you’re not yet part of the business, you can join too. Fee is only Php3,000 which will be used to pay for the speakers, 2 nights lodging, including use of the facilities, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not bad right?! Actually, with everything I learned at the camp, it should be priced a lot higher. It really is a good investment for personal and business growth. The focus of the camp is to build your strength and character so that no matter what you do in any area of your life, you will always come out victorious!

For me and Peter, our initial goal is to be able to fully pay our Alabang House and Yaris in 2 years’ time, set up other investment streams  (like a nice hedge fund, some bonds and a real estate portfolio) and eventually build our mansion, buy myself a Roadtrek and have at least Php10 million untouched savings in the bank. My short term goal is to be able to pay off my mom’s debts and then buy her a Louis Vuitton or Marc Jacobs bag in 6 months! Not just because I can afford it (because I can afford it now, it’s just not practical) but because  by then they should already be worth nothing to me. Kumbaga, barya na lang yang LV bag by then. Teehee. I know it’s quite a huge dream. But why not? When we dream, we should dream big!  Michealangelo once said: “The  greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.“ Robert Fritz also wrote in his book, Path of Least Resistance. “If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise.” So dream big! And don’t let anyone talk you out of your vision. Otherwise, you let dream stealers rule your life and all that would be left is a life left unlived.

Currently, after barely two months, I’ve already gotten back my initial investment of Php21,000 and have reinvested twice. I’ve  also already earned 5 figures in less than two months and that excludes profit from our direct sales of the product. I know that if I keep at it, I will achieve my gaols. Because if they can do it, I can too. So can you! Anybody can do this business no matter how busy you are, no matter where you are in the world. Heck, I have three full time jobs and Peter practically sleeps in his office!
