CashCashPinoy: The Next Big Online Trend in the Philippines
September 8, 2010Mr. Fred Levy of Netbooster Asia discussing whathow CashCashPinoy works
September 2, 2010, Peter helped organize an event for their company which I attended. It was the launch of CashCashPinoy at Lancaster Hotel in Shaw. I immediately signed up because its online launch was scheduled in September 6, and since Monday, I have been getting one cool deal after another in my email, all from CashCashPinoy.

So what is CashCashPinoy?
Consumers nowadays are faced with so many choices that the most logical thing to do is to go to a familiar restaurant, usual club or bar or just stay home or watch a movie. I know this for a fact because I can totally relate. So, as a result, many of us miss out on all the cool, new things the city has to offer.
This is where CashCashPinoy comes in. By featuring one product or service every day at super discounted prices, consumers (meaning, us!) don’t have to wrack our heads on what options to pick. Guilt-free spending is now effortless! Wahoo!
What makes CashCashPinoy even cooler is that it’s a perfect mix of a city guide, a social tool and the best way to experience the city without straining your budget! I should know… just last Monday I got the following deal:
50% Off on a 90 min Whole Body Hilot with Ventosa Therapy at Shui Hilot Spa. Pay only P425 (instead of P850)
Then yesterday, I got this deal:
50% off: P140 for P280 Worth for 12 delicious Chicken Wings at Wingman
A joint venture by NetBooster Asia, a fully-integrated digital agency and Enjoy Philippines, the country’s premiere lifestyle privilege program, CashCashPinoy.com features daily deals (like the ones I mentioned above) on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in different cities in the Philippines, including helicopter rides, bunjee jumping and sky diving at super discounted offers!!! I am truly excited about this!
CashCashPinoy negotiates huge discounts from 50-90% off on popular local products, services and events and offers the deals to its exclusive members. The deals are present for only 24 hours, a flash promotion that gives amazing digital exposure for the merchants. The members get a deal an the business gets a ton of new customers - it’s a total Win-Win situation!
That’s me and Mr. Fred Levy, talking about CashcashPinoy in more detail.

Going the Distance with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long
August 31, 2010My hubby and I have always loved Drew Barrymore. She is such a wonderful actress and so pretty too. Plus I love the way her movies always make us feel good afterwards. And it’s the same with her latest flick, GOING THE DISTANCE, with her co-star and real life boyfriend Justin Long. Thanks to Azrael and to SM for letting us watch the advanced screening yesterday.
The movie was so awesome and hilarious that my husband and I found ourselves laughing at several scenes and me crying at those dramatic moments. It made us think what if we were to have a long distance relationship? Would we survive it? Frankly, I am not so sure. I’m so used to Peter being around that I may just die. Anyway, that’s how great this movie is. It was not only funny and entertaining, it will make you feel what the characters were feeling at every single turn of their relationship too. Oh and Christina Applegate played such an awesome sister. So many awkward moments… so effing hilarious! LOL! In short, we had such a great time!
Going the Distance is about Erin’s (Drew Barrymore) witty and frank personality who charms the newly single Garrett (Justin Long). Before long, they find themselves spending every possible moment they have in those six weeks that Erin was spending her internship in New York. It was just supposed to be a summer fling but it led to so much more. So they tried going the distance. It was hard, it can be messy, it meant sacrificing dreams, it was a roller coaster ride. But in the end, no matter how difficult, love triumphs. Do watch it! This movie is not just for women who love chick flicks but good for men too. They will surely have a bawl!

Sexy Nomad Weekend Updates
August 25, 2010While the whole nation was so busy saying their various opinions about the recent mishap that happened in Manila, I was busy working, sleeping and writing my personal blogs posts on some of my blogs. Honestly, I had no idea that such a tragedy was happening until Peter told me about it late Monday evening. Oh well, I won’t add anymore opinion about the matter. It’s been done and I just hope the people concerned learned a good deal about it so that next time (not that I’m hoping there would be a next time), it can be dealt with successfully. (*If you don’t know what I am talking about, then you must be living under a rock, or like me, killing yourself with tons of workload and other more seemingly important things. LOL.) I won’t even give any clues or keywords as to what I am referring to because it has trended enough on social networking sites making our race look bad once again.
Anyhoo, the point of this post is to just give you my personal updates. So that’s what I’m going to do. ^_^
Last weekend, I again wore one of the garterized, off-the-shoulder, affordable blouses I was selling on my FB super sale catalog. It’s comfy and it perfectly hid all those unwanted fats in my midesction. Haha! Blame it on the sweets I’ve been eating non-stop lately.
I also bought new books! Now if only I can buy time to read all those books I’ve bought, that would be a lot more awesome.
I tried using our brand new Wimpex oven and grilled some vegetables and baked some scrambled eggs.They were delish!
I’ve also been busy with casting spells and buying a few things for Halloween. Yes, I am that excited!After all, a few more days and it’s the start of the BER months already. Yipee!
And last but not the least, if I haven’t been resting or reading, I’ve been spending some real quality time with the hubby over the weekend.
How about you? Prior to the incident that had the nation glued to National TV, what have you been up to? ^_^
UNO 7th Anniversary Party
June 19, 2010The other night, in the middle of work, I suddenly felt the need to make some changes in my current lifestyle, stop being such a workaholic hermit, and start going to events and parties once again. I may have reached that point when being in the house all the time is just too much and I need a change of scenery.

Sexy Nomad’s 4th Birthday Gift
May 14, 2010Howdy! Sexy Nomad is now 4 years old! As such, she has thought about transfering to another home. So from now on, all new PERSONAL posts shall be published at
I will still retain this blog though for non-personal travels and stuff.
When you do visit my new blog (and a couple of other blogs on my blog roll), you might see some old posts there on the front page. This is because I am slowly transfering all my posts (starting from the most interesting and most viewed) from here to my new home, one by one. Yeah, it’s such a massive task! Just thinking about it is making my heart beat so fast. I guess coz I find it exciting… Teehee. It would be nice to go back to my old posts and see how much I’ve grown, from an emotional wreck I was 4 years ago, to this happier, more mature girl that I am now. ^_^
So anyway, I just want to let you know. And if you have a better idea on how I can do this more efficiently, let me know. I think I need all the help I can get, seeing that I almost never sleep these days and I’m always bombarded with work. (Buti na lang nag-eenjoy ako.) ^_^
Ciao folks! And see you at the other side.

Weekend at Malapascua Island, Cebu: Day 1
Malapascua Island Weekend in Cebu: Day 2
~~~oOo~~~
On our third and final day on this exotic island, Peter and I woke up early to catch the sunrise. Malapascua island is just so beautiful that early morning, as the sun’s rays cast its golden glow on the powdery white sands of the beach. Most of the boats were still docked by the shore while a few were out in the ocean, catching some fish, to supply the various resorts lining the island.
Cubao Expo: An Afternoon of Shopping and Dining at Green Halo
March 20, 2010March 7, 2010, it was the day after our day trip in Dungaree Beach and shopping in Subic. Ninette spent the night with us, so come Sunday, we woke up pretty late, too lazy to do anything else. But because we didn’t want to turn this beautiful summer day into waste, we thought of heading out, and see where the wind will blow us.
But we ended up buying a bottle of of Korean Aloe Vera Juice & Mandarin Juice, Korean noodles, Korean ice cream sandwich, imported chocolates and other food. This was also where I got my Ryka sneakers, Rider slippers and Peter’s Nike rubber shoes. ^_^
