When Peter and I went to Bacolod, we didn’t have enough time to plan for anything. We went cowboy style while crossing our fingers that things will turn out good if not great. We faced some hiccups along the way particularly when it came to Saltimboca Inn where we stayed, but we’re happy that the rest of our Bacolod trip has been amazing.
For one, we were able to find out how to go to Mambukal Mountain Resort, located in the town of Murcia, an hour of jeep ride away from Bacolod City. Instead of renting a van for Php1,500 for a half day trip to Mambukal, we got there by spending only Php86 each on fare round trip. The ride has been adventurous, we were able to splurge on food, and we also got more than enough pocket money to check out the lagoons, river, pools and other amenities Mambukal Resort has to offer. Check out the the guide I posted on how we went to Mambukal Mountain Resort on a budget here.
