Sohoton Cove in Siargao is probably one of the most enchanted places I’ve been to here in the Philippines. For one, it has caves that can only be entered at a certain time of the day in order to avoid getting trapped inside it. But once inside, you can experience a certain tranquility that can relax your whle body and mind as you feel one with nature’s best. With the tons of flora and fauna in this area, you’d wonder if you were back in time when modern times hasn’t touched nature yet.
Anyway, if you want to know what I mean, head to a post I did about the Sohoton Cove and its enchated caves with the horseshoe rock formation…
Another really fasinating thing about Sohoton Cove in Siargao is its Jellyfish Lagoon! And I thought only Palau has this phenomenon. As it turns out, we have one right here in our own country! How cool is that?! The Jellyfish Lagoon has about millons of orange stingless jellyfish that thrive here because of lack of predators. And so tourists come in here to swim with them.
Peter and I did just that. It was both frightening and exciting. I don’t think I’ll do it again but I know my husband will. He’s just so fasinated by it! Check out the tons of videos we took while swimming with the jellyfish! I’m sure you can do it too. I dare you! ^_^
