I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream, go where I want to go and be what I want to be. After all, we only have this one life to do what really matters most.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

The Ruins, Bacolod
My husband and I just got back from Bacolod. It’s our 2nd time to go there. The first was in 2006 when we went to Inampulugan Island in Guimaras and stayed in Costa Aguada Resort. We basically just passed by Bacolod and went straight to the boat station from the airport. This time around though, we explored some of the must-see places on foot and via jeepney and tricycle rides.
I don’t have much time right now to give you all the details. Suffice it to say that there were just three things we didn’t like about this whole Bacolod trip:
