My Thoughts on Direct Selling Opportunities

August 26, 2011

The past month, I have been invited by a lot of people to try out other network marketing companies or direct selling opportunities. In my teen years and early twenties, I’ve aready been involved with a few and if there’s one thing I learned from all those experiences, you gotta stick with just one and grow your business from there. That’s what I’ve been doing since I started another one in 2009 and I’m slowly but surely getting there. In fact, I’ve already been quite lucrative with the business in the past and that is just a bonus. My primary reason for joining then was to get the health benefits I am currently experiencing. Why do you think I rarely get sick despite the fact that I sometimes can’t help but not sleep nor rest with the many things I am doing?

Anyway, when it comes to network marketing, one thing I’ve learned from my past experiences is that it’s all just a matter of duplication. What do I mean by this? As a network marketer, I simply imitate the practices, principles and values being done by my higher ups, my colleagues and those leaders I see climbing the ladder of success in this line of business. Passion and belief in the products you’re moving have to be there because there will be times when you feel like nothing is happening and this might discourage you from continuing the business. But if you know that you are offering an excellent product line and you know in your heart that you are helping other people with their needs, be it financial success, great health, wellness, etc., then the little hurdles along the way will just keep you going. Network marketing involves the little lost art of persuasion which is: When you give something valuable, then you will receive something valuable in return. It must be about helping other people first and not just about helping yourself.

Furthermore, I always prefer moving products that contribute to the health and wellness of people, particularly those derived from fruits and vegetables. I’ve done this in the past and you may have read my posts about it before. Besides, It helps that I love eating fruits and vegetables, plus I have always been thinking about going vegetarian like one of my best friends, Jem. But since I still can’t give up sweets, burgers, fish and dairy, then  I’d just have to stick with increasing my intake of fruits, vegetables and organic products. One example of fruit that I find really good is mangosteen.

I first got to know about mangosteen during my childhood years when I’d visit my grandparents in Cagayan de Oro. I found the fruit peculiar because I seldom see such produce in the market or in our neighborhood in Manila. I’d oftentimes just see mangoes and bananas during summer and for me that was all I knew back then. So when my grandparents introduced me to eating a variety of other fruits like mangosteen, durian, jackfruit, cashew and rambutan, mostly straight right out of my grandparents’ farm in Bukidnon, I was pretty exhilarated from the experience!

Let’s focus a bit more on mangosteen because of all those fruits I was amazed at, this one has the most number of health benefits. It’s not called queen of the fruits for nothing.

What you have to know about mangosteen is that it is very rich in XANTHONES which is a  very powerful antioxidant that helps our body fight free radicals. Xanthones support our immune system, digestive system, enhances our brain power, makes our skin soft and glowing… etc. Basically, the xanthones in mangsoteens help us in more ways than we can imagine because of their anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. I’m no longer surprised at the number of companies manufacturing food products made of mangosteen. And I am thankful for those who offer them via direct selling businesses because prices are considerably lower thru this method of selling.

Well, don’t just take my word for it. Include mangosteens in your grocery  when you see them in the market and see the wonders they will do for your health. You can also buy them in juice, concentrated form. I know I will. ^_^

Disclaimer:
Because of my experience in direct selling opportunities, I am participating in a blogger campaign about mangosteen benefits and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own. This campaign is sponsored by Bucks2Blog.

I agree sis. It’s important that you pattern your strategies with those which have been proven successful already. And your choice is good. Marketing healthy products is also like an advocacy.

Thanks sis! I forgot to mention that after you duplicate the processes of those who have been successful already, you now have to teach your own down lines or distributors how to do it, and so on and so forth. It’s a never ending process of learning and teaching. :)

Those are great strategies! I am looking for more ways to earn at home. I’ve never experienced selling - just the buying part because i always find them cheaper.

Some time ago, I did need to buy a building for my organization but I did not have enough money and could not purchase something. Thank God my friend suggested to get the home loans at creditors. Thus, I acted that and was satisfied with my consolidation loan.
