On those two days that my girlfriends, my husband, and I spent our time under the extreme heat of the sun at Magalawa Island in Zambales, I brought and shared with them my new skin product discovery— Nivea Visage Sparkling White UV Blocker products. Naturally, with the frequency of our beach and other summer activities, we
don’t ever think that we can attain the sparkling white color that Nivea Visage Sparkling White UV Blocker offers but at least, we can manage to stay under the sun for longer periods of time without having to worry about our skin getting rough, super darkened and extremely dull.
Magalawa island, located off the coast of Palauig, Zambales, is such a nice white island to explore. It’s only been a week since I was last there with my hubby and friends and I already miss it. If you think about it, it’s very similar to Potipot island up north in Zambales, or Dampalitan islnd in Padre Burgos, Quezon. But because of the reasons that I will enumerate below, I find Magalawa island much more enticing and easier to go to:
Magalawa island is only 4 hours away from Manila…
Sunrise on the island is beautiful…
I just want to share with you these cute, colorful and comfortable summer wear I donned when we went to Caliraya to windsurf. I’ve had these clothes for a long while now but I haven’t really worn them as much, especially the jump shorts. They’re still brand new.
Whenever we’d go out of town, I always make sure that I wear something that is perfect for the occasion. For instance, I can easily get out of the jumpsuit which was why I was wearing my tankinis underneath so I can immediately run to the lake and get busy with windsurfing. As for other attire, which fashions a more Bohemian look, I just wanted to look colorful because I was pretty sure I was going to get dark and tanned. I think both attires looked great on me. (more…)

Magalawa island is a white island that I think my hubby and I will try to come back to the next time we head off to Zambales again. It’s located off the coast of Palauig, Zambales and it’s pretty easy to go to. Check the directions on how to get to Magalawa. On our first day there, my two girlfriends, me and my husband discovered how beautiful albeit quite uncivilized this Magalawa island is. We also witnessed some not-so-nice guests despite the fact that Ate Grace, her dad who is the owner of the island, and the rest of their staff were all very kind people. Anyway, do read my complete blog post about it and see the amazing photos we took:
