I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Bonueva Home is so far the most affordable accommodation / one of the cheapest rooms I have found in Boracay when I was still planning my one month stay in this beautiful island. Now that I am here on my 7th day, I am very happy to have booked my stay here at Bonueva Home. Their fan rooms rent for Php500 per day and this already includes wifi inside the room, hot and cold shower, clean water system, double bed, cable TV, free hot water for coffee and tea, change in bed sheets and towel, and your own broom to clean the floor. The prices get cheaper the longer you stay. They also offer use of washing machine and kitchen facilities for an additional minimal fee. If you’re looking for cheap rooms in Boracay, come join me here! It is indeed very much worth it.
I first wanted a fan room when I booked my stay here at Bonueva Home last November 2010. Come February, I changed my mind and upgraged my booking to an air conditioned room since I’ll be staying from March 25-April 26 and I didn’t want my computer (yes, I’d still be working) to fry from the summer heat. As it turns out, now that I am here, it’s been very breezy here in Boracay, and the people here at Bonueva Home have been very accommodating. Ervin Bonot, the owner, even asked me if I need any other assistance like extra table and chair, more hot water, laundry, etc. I am really thankful for Ervin and his mom Ella, who has also been very kind to me.
Because of Bonueva Home, my dream of living on a budget on this beautiful island of Boracay has now come true. You can too! Check out the rates of their cheap Boracay rooms and cheap apartments which they can rent out on a daily basis as well as weekly and monthly. The longer you stay, the more discounts you get. Ervin Bonot also gives 10% discount if you pay your booking in advance.
