I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

I mentioned before that I have started out a projects blog for all those undone crafts I’ve been wanting to do for a decade now but just never found the time for it, one of which is soap making. Finally, I did my first batch last week, had it hardened and cured and I finally took it out of its mold this weekend. Prior to taking it out of my basic mold, it looked like this:
It’s my very own handmade herbal soap scrub with green apple, oatmeal, thyme and oligve oil. See how it looks like now here.
