I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

They say that you have to dive in order to experience the sardine run that usually happens in the very popular marine park, Pescador island, located in Moalboal, Cebu. While it is better to go diving there, and best if you have a very powerful underwater video camera with you, I was just too happy to experience the whole thing even if I was just snorkeling at the deeper parts of the coast where I stumbled across billions of sardines swimming in one place! It was like a magical dance that I will never forget!

It’s my first time to read about the sardine run and it’s cool to know that we can witness it here in cebu. I must say it’s one of the many reason to visit cebu
