I mentioned before that I have started out a projects blog for all those undone crafts I’ve been wanting to do for a decade now but just never found the time for it, one of which is soap making. Finally, I did my first batch last week, had it hardened and cured and I finally took it out of its mold this weekend. Prior to taking it out of my basic mold, it looked like this:
It’s my very own handmade herbal soap scrub with green apple, oatmeal, thyme and oligve oil. See how it looks like now here.
On my Kicking Pinay blog, I’ve discussed how the Pareto principle and Stephen Covey’s 8 Habits are currently helping me fight my personal battles so I can come out a better person. I’ve been applying all the habits on and off in my life but recently, I have been falling to an old pattern that I’d really like to overcome. If you wish to know more what these principles are and how you too can apply it to overcome your flaws and better your lives, head to my post entitled: 80-20 Rule and The Seven Habits
The Smurfs backpack is one of my purchases during the holidays. I bought this particular design because of the history Smurfs and I shared during my childhood and adolecent years. The bag itself will be used when I do my EAT, PRAY, LOVE rendezvous in Boracay this summer. Hopefully, I can pack all the essential stuff I need in there, which in itself, is already a practice of letting go of certain baggage in my life and moving forward to a better and happier me.

It was like a magical dance that I will never forget!
Catch the video I took of the sardine run here:

I don’t think I’ve told you about the Sexy Nomad Projects Blog just yet. It’s another personal blog of mine where I’ll be sharing my journey in the crafty and artsy stuff I’ve been wanting to do for more than a decade now. I tried it last year by setting up the Jen Adams projects blog but because of my hectic work schedule and other things, I got sidetracked and many of my planned projects never materialized. I got so frustrated to the point of being depressed. Then I realized that these are my projects, my time, my resources therefore I can always try again. So this new projects blog was born to prove to myself that I can make it work this time. I just need to be more conscious of how I use my time and let go of those toxic and unnecessary things. So far, these are the things I’ve done since the start of the year:
