My Antipolo Dream House & Lot For Sale at Php 27M

March 14, 2010

John Aguilar is a very good friend of ours. We used to be classmates back in Ateneo from 1995-1999. He was taking B.S. Pschology,  while Peter and I were taking A.B. Psychology. He was (and still is) the athletic type more than the genius kind. He won in numerous triathlons before, sang in a cover band, did events hosting, co-wrote with Peter during their ABS-CBN days, and a lot more, until he set up his own productions company, Street Park Productions, and is currently the producer of  ANC’s Philippine Realty TV. John has indeed come a long, long way from the happy-go-lucky John Aguilar we used to know. It was only when Peter and I saw his almost Php27M house in Antipolo, a product of his show’s segment entitled PROJECT FIRST HOME, that I realized how he can be very focused when it comes to pursuing his passions in life. And for that, my admiration for my dear friend has gone way beyond over the top! I salute you John! Your “tunnel vision” has served you well and I can only hope that I get to practice that too. But I believe, it’s one of those traits given only to true geniuses of our generation. You may be the most successful in our batch, and I’m sure God has a lot more in store for you. Congratulations and we wish you all the best in your career, as well as in your personal life (wink!wink!nudge!nudge! ^_^)

John Aguilar is currently pitching another show, for Studio 23 this time, and I can’t wait to see it on air some time soon!

Anyway, last Feb.27-28, 2010, Peter and I were honored to have been invited to stay overnight at this millionaire’s home, located at a very strategic spot in Antipolo. Come and see…

This is the house’s front view. Whoever gets to buy this house can just have fences and gates built in front. ^_^

On Feb. 27, Peter and I arrived at around dinner time. Since the house has just been opened to prospective buyers, we didn’t want to make a mess in the kitchen, so each of us brought some food and drinks to share…  As John and Monica brought 2 bottles of wine, we brought several bottles of Coke and rhum. Party time! ^_^

Afterward, the tour began…

This house has a total of 4 floors!

LIVING ROOM

John and his house is this month’s cover of HOMESTYLE magazine. He has this  pose which I just sort of copied…Teehee.

DINING ROOM

I loove all the hand made wooden furniture in his dining room!!!

KITCHEN

The kitchen is definitely our favorite. The cabinets and cupboards are remote controlled. And even without the remote control, you won’t even have to push them so hard because each door closes on its own. The appliances are all made by Electrolux.

Then we went to see what’s downstairs…

There’s a toilet and bathroom and a regular-sized room for the helpers, or it could also be turned into an office or study.

 GUEST BEDROOM1

Then there’s one of the main rooms with airconditioning, 2 massage lazy boy chairs and its own patio overlooking the view of the forest below….

With Monica and John…

 Then we went upstairs…

GUEST BEDROOM 2

This was where we slept that night! We just changed the bed sheets coz this one’s been used for several photo ops, go-sees and tapings.

 GUEST BEDROOM 3

This bedroom has a little mezzanine perfect for storing huge toys for kids and other stuff.

Guest Toilet & Bath

 I love the shower head!

MASTER BEDROOM

MASTER TOILET & BATH

The fabulous VIEW from the Rooftop

Antipolo… so near yet so far from the city… ^_^ You get the best of both worlds.

The next day, the following photos were the views which greeted us when we woke up. The house had a much different, sunny vibe in the morning! It felt like we were in a fabulous resort/hotel. The previous night, the house looked like one big party place! But in the morning, it was just sooo relaxing…
