I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

We all know that it’s been snowing so hard the last couple of days at the other side of the globe, and when this happens, we are sure that winter break is really here. Well, don’t get all gloomy because for all you know, fun is just around the corner.
It’s winter break! When the snow is at its thickest, wouldn’t it be fabulous to go to an awesome destination and enjoy the cold, winter weather with your perfect someone? Or perhaps with your entire family? I know I would.
One fantastic place you can visit this winter season is Edinburgh. If you are looking for a cozy yet spacious abode, why not try getting an Edinburgh accommodation?
