Mysterious White Spiral Light in Norway

December 10, 2009

Since I was ten years old, I’ve always been fascinated with the sky, the stars… the universe in general. I even gave up the thought of becoming a nun (I was brought up by the Benedictine nuns) so I could be an astronomer. So anyway, last dawn, between 3 to 4 a.m., I caught this piece of news online (which is now all over the web) and I plurked about it. Being a fan of sci-fi flicks doesn’t help my anxiety over this matter. What is this mysterious white spiral light spotted in the skies of Norway? My first stream of thought was: “Is it like the aurora borealis of the north? …Does it have anything to do with the end of the world? Ooohhh… I don’t wanna die yet.” Blame it to my repeated viewing of the most recent disaster flick, 2012. Then speculations began sprouting that it could’ve been a failed Russian missile launch. What about UFO? Nobody even brought that up. Or maybe we have a real live super hero?  Hehehe. Well, whatever this is, it is so mysterious it deserves a friggin’ applause. But like they say in movies, when something mysterious like this comes up, I’m sure there always is an explanation and most probably someone very important has the facts.
