I Love Makati Video Contest
December 1, 2009I know I’ve been everywhere with my travels. Even with my residence, I ‘ve jumped from one municipality/city to another — from Cagayan de Oro, to San Mateo, to Makati, to Bulacan, to QC and now I’m living in Alabang. But out of all these places I’ve lived, it’s Makati that I felt most alive.
I used to live in this great city back in 2001-2002 when I was working for an internet company then later on, in one of the call centers. I know it’s been so long and it’s only been a year of my life but I am proud to say that out of all the places I’ve lived, it was where I felt most secure and safe. I remember when Peter and I used to walk all the way from our condo along Buendia to Glorietta in Ayala … at night! We were never robbed, there were no goons lurking in dark corners, I felt like we owned the place and it was so much fun! Even now, when Peter and I would frequent this city, I sometimes wonder how much more upbeat our lives would be if we bought a house or a condo here instead. And I heard there are so much more perks available now for all residents like free health clinics, watching Pacquiao fights for free and so much more! I just love Makati! I really do. And I know there are so many people out there who are so lucky to be living here and are loving Makati as much as (and even more than) I do.
And boy, have I got news for you Makati lovers out there. It’s December 1, right? And what better way is there to start the month of the most joyful season than by joining an awesome video contest?! It starts today and ends on December 20. Jupiter Suites Budget Hotel in Makati and Budget Travels Philippines are launching I Love Makati Video Contest for all of you Makati lovers out there.
If you are 18 years old and above, you can express your love for this city in a 30 second (or more) video. Please see the complete list of mechanics in the I Love Makati Video Contest page. Grand prize winner will receive P50,000 and five runner-ups will get P10,000 each! First ten qualified submissions will also get 2 nights weekend stay voucher at Jupiter Suites.This is not so bad… Not so bad at all!
