Did You Have A Happy Halloween? I Did!

November 1, 2009

I originally scheduled a Halloween Party at home on Oct. 24, 2009, a week before the real Hallow’s Eve, which is when I usually have it every year. But because I got chosen to go to Singapore that weekend for the Nuffnang  Asia Pacific Blog Awards (blog post to be made this week) , I decided to just move it on Halloween weekend  itself  even though I know many people won’t be able to make it. What’s important for me is that I get to celebrate it like I used to every year. It is after all, my most favorite holiday. So whether or not friends will come party with me, I will still party with Peter and my family. Teehee.

Oct. 30, my family  came to visit us and stay for the weekend and that’s when my siblings and I started to party the weekend away. We had tarot card reading, scary movie watching, videoke singing and hair-raising storytelling! I was also able to spend some bonding time with my cute baby nephew Dominic Marc. ^_^

Oct. 31, We were actually expecting to have ghosts as guests coz… well… our friends already had other plans for that wekend. So I still fixed the house, had chairs moved to have space for our ghost friends…. Hehehe. Kidding!

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see that some of our friends came to celebrate Halloween with us — Bim, Helga, Coco with his Angel and Jayvee. Yay! Peter cooked pasta for us while I grilled stome steaks and hotdogs. We had chips, mallows and chocolates too and of course, tons of beer for our friends and cocktails for me. Hehehe.

Our friends went home at around 3 or 4am I guess (I really can’t remember coz I was already quite tipsy by then). But Peter, my sister Abba and I kept on partying til around 7 in the morning the next day, to the tune of TOTAL ECLISPE OF THE HEART on videoke! Hahaha! Good thing our neighbors seemed to be either sound asleep or probably still in their respective provinces visiting their dead. So basically, we’ve been partying for two straight days. And before my family went back home to San Mateo this evening, we also watched SUKOB for the nth time and still screamed at all the startling scenes! I couldn’t even go upstairs by myself for a few hours afterwards coz the movie really got me spooked. Oh what fun!

  HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

May all souls rest in peace.
