Sexynomad Attended the N.E.W. Networking Party
October 1, 2009The day before typhoon Ondoy devastated our country, Sept. 25, 2009, I braved the rains in the metropolis and travelled from Alabang to Ortigas to attend N.E.W. (Network of Enterprising Women)’s Networking Party.
I often receive invitation from N.E.W. but it was only this time that I thought of going to the said event. The first time I attended one of their events was last January 2008! Anyway, the networking party was fun, I met a lot of women I can contact for future business ventures, it was very informative (I learned a lot about franchising from Mr. Brendan Yu) and I don’t regret it one bit.

The Network for Enterprising Women (NEW) is hosting a networking event just for women.
Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to meet other sellers and buyers at the Networking Party! We will also have an interactive and informative talk where you find out ins and outs of franchising a business.
Join us on Friday, September 25 at 6:30pm at Florabel Restaurant, G/F The Podium - entrance is outside the Mall.
For those who are into business already, please bring samples of your products. Food sampling is permissible.

What’s the Agenda?
6.30pm: Registration
6.45pm: Networking Session - where you get a chance to speak to everyone in the room about your product or service and announce your future events, launches or special offers from anyone attending - your chance to stand up & promote your business.
7.00pm: A Talk on the Ins and Outs of Franchising a Business by Mr. Brendan Yu, 2007 Jollibee’s Franchisee of the Year and a Professor at DLSU and UA&P.
7.30pm: Q&A and Informal networking until finish at 10.00pm
Remember to bring along your business cards, leaflets or any small product samples to display on the networking table.
How much is this Event?
Participant Fee: Php 150 for NEW members and Php 250 for non-members. Drinks will be served. Payments can be made through Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) under Network for Enteprising Women, Manila Assn, Inc., Checking Account # 4481-0051-46. Please bring your deposit slips on the day of the event for re-validation.
