I know I haven’t been posting much lately. I’ve just been so busy with work, my acting gigs and other lucrative businesses on the side . I guess these are all parts of growing up (in a such a way that I’ve learned to ALWAYS follow my heart and do the things that make me peaceful and happy). I feel a lot more mature so to speak… so different from who I was several months ago. My essence is still intact though. It’s just that I have been changing some of my priorities in life as of late. Like I’m now more into investing and saving rather than splurging, partying and impulsively shopping. I value my time and money more these days. Maybe it’s because I’m a lot happier… I don’t really need shopping therapy anymore. I used to do that when I was still into my stressful jobs. I get so depressed and miserable that I’d find my bliss through shopping and partying all weekend long (There was a time in 2007 when I bought Php12,000 worth of books in one go! Or that time in 2008 when I spent Php16,000 worth of 1 hour shopping in Subic! And remember the time when I plurked about buying 13 pairs of CROCS in one afternoon?! The list goes on and on… Now that I think about it, OMG!!! I haven’t even read those books nor worn half of those pairs of shoes I bought!) It was all good while it lasted and I am grateful that I was able to experience all that. But had I been wiser, I could’ve invested my oodles of moolah at that time into stocks, bonds and mutual funds and I could’ve been a lot richer right now. But that’s all in the past. I don’t exactly regret the fun I had. Now that I know better, I can manage my money, resources and time more. The next time I feel the itch to really throw away some cash, I’d use it to put trellis on our balcony and front yard. Now, that would be money worth spending. What I also do these days in between all my passions is I try to still squeeze in a little bit of time with my friends even if it sometimes meant mixing business with pleasure. I’m a master multitasker after all and that’s when I fully thrive.

The name Vita Plus sounded very familiar that day my co-talent told me about it. We were at ADFARM in Makati doing some voice files when they shared to me a bit of information about its health benefits. Later that afternoon, we all went to Ortigas coz they wanted to show me their business office and their product line. The moment I entered, I was amazed at the mountains of products being displayed from floor to ceiling. Aside from the juice drink, there were soaps, massage oils, power slim packs, coffee. Coffee! …That I wanted to buy right there and then. There were also a huge number of people inside that equally large office space. There was a room full of buyers and shoppers, another room full of people getting their checks, another large room of people (standing room by then coz there were no more seats left) listening to a business seminar. These products are selling like hotcakes! They must be really good! Then we went to a nearby restaurant, had late lunch then my friend started telling me about all these benefits. I’m a pretty hard girl to convince. I value my money a lot and I am very careful with where I spend it. But more than its cost, it has to have value to me. This is why I might seem like a shopaholic girl. But really, what I look at is the long term benefits of the things I’m buying and investing in. So it could be Php 1 Million or Php1.000 What matters is what I will get out of it in return. Will it make me happy? Will it do me good? Does it sit well with my internal values?
With First Vita Plus vegetable juice drink, after they told me the health benefits they experienced, I didn’t need any hard convincing. What I needed was to drink it myself. I had a glass of it and it tasted good…like fresh dalandan. I haven’t had much sleep then due to the nature of my work (I’m working full time virtual assistant, part time acting talent {although lately it feels like full time to me}, helping Jana set up a travel magazine as her managing editor, selling Victoria’s Secret lingerie on the side, managing our household, and doing all sorts of other stuff I love) so I’m always sort of anemic. I either binge when I have the time and not eat & sleep at all on other days. Anyway, that day, I hurried all the way from Alabang to Makati to do the voice file and I never even had the time to eat anything. By 5 pm, I was hungry like crazy and I was already feeling woozy and weak. After drinking First Vita Plus vegetable juice, I didn’t think much of it. In retrospect though, I got home at around 8pm, went straight to work and delivered my assignments until early the following morning. Wow! I normally would have rested first or maybe even sleep a few hours but I was like an energizer bunny.
I guess the 5 power ingredients really worked their magic — MALUNGGAY, SALUYOT, SILI LEAVES, TALBOS NG KAMOTE & URAY OR PHILIPPINE SPINACH. No wonder it’s BFAD, US FDA and HALAL (Muslim Association) approved!!! (Check out their website for more info. firstvitaplus.net)
Here’s another testimony: I only started drinking it last Thursday, July 23, but it already cured my usual upset tummy. You see, whenever I am tired or stressed, it’s my tummy that’s usually acting up. I’m guessing it’s my weakest internal organ. This is why I try to be always positive. As early as 12 years old, I’ve already had peptic ulcer. On and off, many times every year, I’d always have LBM. If not LBM, it’s constipation. When I was so stressed with my previous job at GSIS, I had gastrointestinal flu which I thought was stomach cancer coz I was trembling and knotting in pain for three straight days before I could even go see a doctor. This is actually one of the reasons why I bought C-Lium… because of its all natural high fiber content. But sad to say, my LBM got worse, which I thought was part of the healing process. With C-lium, I also woke up everyday with a tummy ache which I thought was also part of the process. I didn’t think much of it since it was the same pain I had when I used to take diet pills before. But with that First Vita Plus juice drink, I immediately started pooping regularly (not liquid poop but the usual kinda hard/kinda soft poop), even twice in one day. That frequency never happened before, unless I am having watery LBM. I generally feel way better than ever before! I even lost 5lbs. despite the fact that nothing changed in my diet. I still eat pasta and rice and ice cream and cake. Teehee.
Days passed and I continued with my very hectic lifestyle. This past week alone, I had two tapings for a TV commercial. The first one was last Monday (Aug. 3) for a fabric softener which started at 4:30 AM and ended at around 7PM. I was exposed to all elements (the sun, the rain, the wind) especially that typhoon Kiko was in full force. I had brought a liter of First Vita Plus Juice Drink with me and drank it all throughout the day. When I got home that night, sunburnt and wet (we have a weird weather, yes?), my colds were gone and I still had the energy to work online for the next 8 hours. WOW!!! Yesterday, I had another taping for Pacquiao’s new product endersement. After work at 9 AM, I packed and prepared myself for the shoot. Call time was at 4 PM in Makati. With two luggage, I commuted from Alabang to the studio with nothing in my tummy except the vegetable juice drink. I had my first meal at 8 PM and the taping ended at 10 PM. I got home at 11 PM last night and continued working until 9 AM this morning. What time is it now? It’s 10:13 AM and I’m off to the health and wealth talk at Metrowalk then 2 VTRs then clubbing at night with my girlfriends. I’m really like an energizer buneny! I do catch REM naps etvery chance I get (like in the bus, while waiting for the shoot, on my workstation at home, etc. ) but in the past, I couldn’t be this alive and active! It’s just so amazing! Peter also said I look much younger, sexier and happier. No wonder the frequency of our sex sessions have definitely increased. Thanks First Vita Plus’ aphrodisiac effect. Teehee. ^_^

Anyway, Peter was not able to rest at all the past weeks. Even our weekends were full. I asked him to stay home coz I can manage my affairs on my own but he can be pretty hard headed. He already got sick and was absent from work two weeks ago because he went with me to do a taping for a short film for our friend Mica which started 6am Sunday and ended 9PM Sunday. We live in Alabang so you can just imagine how tired Peter was at that time, travelling to and from Greenhills to our house plus the taping required location changes. He wasn’t able to rest so he got sick. Typical of him. So I said to myself the following weekend, I’d let him rest. But he wouldn’t. He wants to be with me. It was sweet of him but I was also afraid for his health. So there, last Sunday, he was already having the sniffles. I know what will be next — fever. It’s the usual cycle of his body. So I told him to just keep drinking Vita Plus. The next day, thank God, he didn’t have fever..YET. I asked him to bring a box of Vita Plus at work. Come afternoon, he had fever. So he drank 2 more glasses. Lo and behold! After an hour, he said his fever vanished! I guess it really is working and I am more than happy to know it. I was really smiling that hour he texted me about it. Thank God! He didn’t go home that night coz he had a lot of work to finish. He slept over at Mike’s place then off he went to work again the next day.
I am no longer wondering. Vita Plus has been featured in several TV shows like ABS-CBN’s Rated K, Swak na Swak and GMA’s Unang Hirit. People with cancer, kidney problems, goiter, third degree burns, lupus and other life threatening illnesses got healed because of Vita Plus. There’s no Therapeutic evidence because no animal testing has been done in laboratories to prove this but there are already tons of clinical evidence. This means that many people are testifying about its health benefits.
First Vita Plus has been owned by DOH before and was formulated by by the former DOH Secretary Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan. No wonder this is such a miracle product. Look at this guy’s credentials!

Dr. Jaime Galvez Z. Tan is a former Secretary of the Department of Health. I’ve been an actor most of my life (starting way back in elementary until today). Prior to assisting my girlfriend Mica in directing her second short film. I’ve only seriously directed a play twice in my entire life — once in my sophomore year in high school when my class competed in that year’s High School Drama Competition and won second place, besting other junior and senior classes; and the next one was in freshman year in college at the Ateneo when I directed our English class play and got an A in that particular subject that semester. Then this. I must admit, I was quite excited and anxious at the same time! Thank God to both my old and recent stints at TV commercials, I’ve watched enough assistant directors to know that it’s a pretty hectic and physically taxing job. And true enough, after 15 hours of taping, I was really extremely exhausted. The Krispy Kreme donuts didn’t help at all because they just made my sugar levels crash that by the time Peter and I got home, we were both feeling quite catatonic from sheer exhaustion. But it was my fault. I haven’t really been sleeping for quite some time due to my very hectic schedule at work. But don’t get me wrong. I was very happy to help out with the film. Thank you, Mica, for the trust you bestowed on me and for giving me the opportunity to work with you. You’re a very talented young woman and I am sure that you will go places and achieve all your dreams very, very soon. ^_^

The Final Moments.. mejo pagod na…
Almost done!!!
Finished, at last!
Do watch out for this fantastic short film about the life Eloisa, a virtual assistant, who once loved and was lost and then found again (hopefully) by some twist of fate. Mica has plans of submitting this as an official entry into the next Cinemanila and Cinemalaya Film Festivals. Kudos to Mica and the entire cast and production crew for a job well done! ‘Til the next film (hopefully, a full-length one). Cheers!!! ^_^
I’m in this commercial somewhere…. But I won’t ask you to look for me. I actually had to play & pause it a couple of times just to make sure that it was my right eye that was seen for a split second behind the kid Vincent at :44 seconds. I was also one of those people situated at Mar’s left back side cheering towards the end. It’s actually a good thing for talents not to be so exposed in TVCs. That means that I can accept more commercial acting gigs in the future which means more money for me. From what I learned recently from other co-actors who have been in this industry for a long time, once your face gets marked by a certain product, you would have a hard time getting other commercials. Casters don’t like getting familiar faces for their TVCs unless you’re a big time celebrity of course. As long as I get paid at the end of the taping, then it’s all good. ^_^
