Overcoming Panic Attacks

June 10, 2009

What do you know about panic attacks? Have you ever experienced one? In today’s very busy world, amidst globalization and technological advancement, do we still have an excuse for experiencing such? And if yes, what steps do we take in overcoming panic attacks? Do we seek a doctor’s opinion and grab the first prescription we get? Or do we resort to some practical ways of dealing with it? Like I said, in today’s very busy world, amidst globalization and despite the many benefits technology can bring, people still do experience panic attacks from time to time. They range from the mildest “feeling in the gut” symptom to that of hyperventilation and palpitation. Sometimes, it could be worse. But has anyone died because of it? I fear not. But there’s no harm in finding out the ins, outs and if there’s a practical way of overcoming this psychological mishap, is there?
