Thanks to LetgoSago’s plurk message, I found out about Asia Pay’s Ecommerista One Peso Workshop which I attended last May 7, 2009. It was held in their office at 32-C, 32/F Rufino Pacific Tower, Ayala Avenue, Makati City and conducted by Andrian Lee, Asia Pay’s General Manager. I also met the following attendees:

Peter Allan Mariano of Wong Group of Companies

Clarissa Concio-Tiglao  and Jomar Garraton of NeTVision, Inc.

Johann Chua of Odyssey Live

Jonel Uy of LetsGoSago.net

Juliet Guanlao, Sarah Jane Sy and Anna Lalaine Torrelino of YGC Corporate Services Inc.

Russell T. Ri  of Ephilippines Adventure Travel

Lea Gomez of Transnational Travel and Tours, Inc.

Alvin Tan, a freelancer

Faith Salazar of Republika Publishing Inc.

When I found out about it, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go. However, upon seeing my name on their list of attendees, I figured I might as well go and learn something new.  And learn something new I did.

Asiapay Payment Technology Corp.  is currently the leading e-Payment service provider in Asia.  They not only provide e-Payment services but they develop solutions and technology as well  for both charitable and merchant companies in need of  online payment processing. They assist these companies in receiving orders via mail, phone and internet  while securing credit and debit card payments.

Anyway, I liked the way Andrian Lee made his presentation. He was very lively and practical in his approach, allowing each one of us to critique our respective companies and/or online site/projects after teaching us several things about SEO (search engine optimization) and SMO (social media optimization). I’m actually planning to spend a whole day or two just optimizing all of my blogs.

For more information, I collected some more slides which I found very helpful too. You might be able to pick something useful for your respective businesses:
