The Sexy Nomad meets RJ Ledesma of UNO Magazine.
Peter and I were lucky to have been invited by Jayvee to the UNO Music Magazine Lounge Party held at Capones in A. Venue in Makati. We were there at around 9 p.m. and the moment we reached the second floor, a long line was already forming outside the registration booth. The place was jampacked with music lovers, press people and a small number of bloggers like us!
The room was so crowded that I never got the chance to see the bands who performed on stage. But from where I was standing, the music definitely rocked! I had so much fun to think that it was only the previous night that I met Dr. Gerba and had an awesome intimate party at our house with some of our blogger friends too! This is definitely turning out to be one entertaining week alright! But I’m not complaining.
L-R: With Fritz; The Boys (Fritz, Juned, Peter and Ade); With April
L-R: Jayvee, April, Me & Joni
There were several things that I liked about this event… I got introduced to my Plurk friend April A.K.A. Mrs. Freul and got to know her better; I finally got to interrogate Gino A.K.A. Baddie with my typical questions that often times elicit a long silence or awkward chuckle (hehehe!); I met Joni again after 3 long years (or almost 3 years); I got several cups of their free cocktail drinks (hic!); I got introduced to Bub, the new frontman of the I.PH technical support team; I got to say hi to Juned; I spent time with some of the TMB folks Ade and Fritz; and I got my picture taken with RJ Ledesma (yay!). It was totally an enjoyable night.
Open bar!!! Woohoo!!!
Peter posed as a photographer to take a picture of Dylan
But it didn’t end there. Come 11 p.m., Peter and I headed to Quezon City to catch Brownman Revival play at 70’s Bistro. I thought I told myself that it might take a long while for me to see my favorite band again but I can always change my mind, right?

I must admit that it’s not the same fun without my reggae mistresses around (Koryn, Michelle, Daena & Joan) but I made the most out of it by hanging out with the band instead. We’re all friends anyway! Teehee.^_^
LR: With Rikki (sound engineer); With Papa Jotay (manager)
L-R: Posing with Dino (vocalist) and Jao (bassist)
L-R: My moment with Paw (Steady Crew) & Edwin (bassist of The Jerks)
L-R: Sneaked up on stage to pose with the “horny boys” Ambet (Torotot Kid), Jayson (Trombonepira) and Jojo (Sax Machine)
We even gave their manager and sound engineer a ride home at 4:30 a.m. Now I can finally say that it has been an ultra fantastic fun night! Cheers to the lovers of music!
