Our last day in Bora was quite uneventful. It was still cold and windy and I didn’t anymore have the strength to change into my bikini and soak what’s left of the UV rays, for in a few hours, we will already be leaving for Manila. So after spending some more time in our room, we decided to get a big brunch of Paella over at Ole in D’Mall.
It cost us around Php700 but it was all worth it. It was also a long 40-minute wait for the dish to be cooked and served. But we didn’t mind. We just wanted to relax that morning and relish what’s left of our vacation.
Peter shopped for a while. He found this spikey pair of slippers that caught his attention while I bought another native hat to add to my hat collection at home. We also plurked for a while while munching on our crazy crepes.
All in all, the short weekend holiday we spent in Bora has been fun, restful and romantic. I can’t wait to do it all over again. I hope I can still get affordable tickets for our next Bora trip on Oct. 31-Nov.3. If not, I might consider going somewhere else more exotic and virgin.
‘Til our next trip!
