I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

It was another stormy but beautiful day in paradise… pretty much like yesterday. Peter and I woke up so early that September 21, Sunday morning and just enjoyed another not-so-ordinary day in Boracay…
It may be overcast but we didn’t care…

Good thing we found this place nearby… Real Coffee and Tea.
They really crushed real ginger for my ginger tea. Add a little honey and voila! Yummy hot drink perfect for the cold beach weather!

Pssst… their food didn’t really taste that good. But coffee and tea were great!
After brunch, the storm stopped for a moment so we hit the beach again for some much needed UV rays.
