Peter&Bim’s Birthday Celeb… A Wild Affair to Remember

July 8, 2008

My brain was telling me to sleep after my shift last Saturday. But for some reason, though my muscles were already doin spasms due to overfatigue, my brain was just so hyperactive than ever. I didn’t know what’s wrong with me, or if I was just having a super low dose of serotonin in my system. The thing is, I wasn’t even irritated or masungit (which usually happens when I lack sleep). I was even extra nice to Peter that day. Hehehe.

So, with nothing better to do and the sun shining so brightly outside, I got my book (I’m on Book IV now of The Narnia Chronicles, Prince Caspian…which reminds me, I haven’t reviewed Book III yet. Oh well… busy, busy) and hung out by the balcony for some sun loving. Unfortunately, after only half an hour, the clouds started to gather over the horizon and blocked the glorious rays of my sun. Hmp. So I went back in, took a shower, and started preparing the house for that night’s party.

While I was in the shower, I can hear Peter talking over the phone with some people. Looked like some drama was happening and my baby was getting stressed. Ts, tsk… So I asked him out on  a mini date instead.

We checked out AGGY’s at Festival Mall. It was our first time in this funky little cake store. Peter told me that their cakes are better than anything he ever tasted so I bought a couple… One Mocha Cake for Bim, one Lava Cake for Peter plus a slice of Caramel Cake which he likes and three boxes of mini cupcakes for me — Cookies & Cream, Chocolate and Butter. Yummy. The sugar rush calmed Peter a bit. We stayed for a while over Coke Zero and my Melon Peel (yeah, I started smoking again… But I stopped yesterday. So..). It was a nice early evening. I was already a bit dazed but still not sleepy. Then we headed home and relaxed a bit before people started coming in…

L: Lauren, Helga & Anne; R: Coco&Tin

Aloha Penny & Me

 L: Tahnee, Yel & Fritz; R: Ade & Anne

The first to arrive was Anne wearing this fabulous little T-shirt Dress. Then the rest of the gorgeous ladies followed (I now forget who came in next for I was a bit dazed and intoxicated by then)  — Yel and Tahnee wearing tight fitting jeans with dark Body Hugging Blouses, Lauren donning a flattering white  Ruffle Shirred Tube Dress, Helga in her sexy Cashmere Tank Dress, Penny donning a lovely Studded T-Shirt Dress and Black Tights .

  Birthday Boy Bim

WTF?!

There were gorgeous men who graced the affair too — Bim, the other birthday celebrant who’s about to turn a year older today, July 8 (Happy, Birthday Crushie!), Ade who couldn’t wait to be alone with Yel that night (mwehehehe…I notice these things!); Fritz who I heard to be getting really popular in the blogosphere (pa-burger ka naman!),  John, one of our dear bestfriends from college who also attended Peter’s Birthday Party two weeks ago (thanks, dude!), Mikey & Marco, two of THE wicked proponents of the naughty Man-Blog  ( the other one is my very naughty hubby, Peter) and Rico who was “better late than never” and is now available in the Singles market (Anyone? He’s really yummy-looking)  Then the sugary couples started arriving — Witz&Cai who looked so smitten with one another (so obvious!), Coco&Tin looking so fresh and tight than ever, and  Jayvee&Phoebe who pretty much reminds me of Peter and myself during our younger years (need I say more?).

L-R: Phoebe, Jayve, Coco, Tin, Marco, Lauren, Helga, Anne, Bim, Mikey, Penny, Fritz

Anyway, all I can say is that the party was a blast! We had delicious food and fantastic company! Thanks to  Bim who prepared pork tonkatsu and super spicy chicken wings and chicken tapa; thanks to Coco&Tin,Tahnee,Ade&Yel who brought pizza and thanks to Witz&Cai for the Brandy. I can’t remember most of the details coz I was happily drunk that night (it’s been sooo long since I last got intoxicated like this). All I remember is that there was much laughter, peeking into Helga’s panties, putting Bim on the spot, talking about Peter’s penis, lotsa tension and awkwardness. Thanks to all my drunken silliness and Bim’s Rated R antics.  Wag sana kayo magsasawa. Hahahahahaha!

This was pretty much my world last weekend — hapily spinning.

Happy Birthday Peter and Bim! Stay funny and be healthy (healthier, even). These are the two most important things in getting laid, trust me.  ;-)

@ Jayvee: Scary, ain’t it?
@ Jen: Thank you so much for being such a wonderful hostess that night intoxicated though you were, and sleep deprived at that, you truly were the life of the party even if you did subject our friends to the subject of my penis. Love you always boobie.

Jayvee!!!! Nooooo… :-) I mean, YOU &PHOEBE remind me so much of how Peter&I were when we were younger… I recognize the easy comfort of two people growing together, getting to know each other by experiencing the world in so many different ways. As oppose to being so immersed in each other, shutting everything else out. Peter and I were like that. We still are. :-D

Hello! FANTASTIC SHOTS! Also, it was probably one of the funnest birthday thingies I’ve ever been to. I kinda have a history of having crappy birthdays, and that’s why I don’t look forward to those things much.

But thanks to you, your husband, and the rest of the TMB people, I’d say that’s about to change! Thanks, Jen!

so when’s the next??? i propose we all do lazer tag at lazerextreme at market! market!

Posted by jayvee f. at July 12, 2008, 3:54 pm

Hey Bim, join the club! Peter and I hated celebrating our birthdays before (we used to be our college guidance counselor’s “therapy kids” ….ask Tahn…she knows…). But thanks to having fantastic friends, both old and new, to celebrate it with, that’s no longer the case. Cheers! Who’s gonna celebrate next???! ;-)

Hey Jayvee!!! That sounds like fun! Let me know when you’re doing the lazer thingy. Peter and I would need a looong break soon. Also, how about surfing in La Union next month? :-)
