I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream, go where I want to go and be what I want to be. After all, we only have this one life to do what really matters most.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

So there we were last weekend, gracing Vina&Kiko’s Wedding and checking-in at Evercrest Golf Resort. As I mentioned, the last time I was there was back in 2004, I think. I was still new in GSIS and the Admin. Group 
sponsored a fantastic Luau Party. Peter even gatecrashed and no one noticed coz everybody thought he was also an employee of GSIS. He was always in the office and was present in a lot of the affairs that we had. Even until now that I’ve resigned, they still think that Peter used to be an employee too. Hahaha. That’s the charm of The Mordo.
Anyway, I digress… Here are some pictures of our first visit to the said resort… those days when I used to be happy with my old job…

With my first few acquaintances in GSIS
After the wedding, both Peter and I were already pretty tired from the trip. So at around 11pm, we were fast asleep. The next day, we woke up early to explore the premises a for a while and enjoy the fresh morning air. It was quite foggy and a bit cold. Had I known, I should’ve brought a more appropriate attire for the occasion. We bumped into the newlyweds during breakfast and both of them were simply glowing from their first night as a married couple. Yihee!
Soon afterwards, we met up with our friends Ate Rose and Karen. Together, we visited Evercrest’s sister resort — Chateau Royale…
