Wow!!!! After only three short months of working for an American company right at the comforts of our home, The Big Boss gave me a raise!!! I was so surprised! Since I have access to all his files, I knew that he fired people more than he gave them raise. And when he did, it’s usually after a year or two. But not me. His hardworking little assistant here got her big raise only after a short time. And I wasn’t even expecting it! All my diligence, industry and the fact that I no longer blog as often as I did before (I usually post something new almost everyday just to make myself feel good about my stupid little job in that stupid money-making company I worked for before) paid off. This is another testament to The Law of Attraction… the power behind the teachings of The Secret. It really works! Thank you, God. Thank you, universe! There is indeed life after GSIS (which I’ve been hearing to be getting worse and worse each passing day…tsk, tsk.). And I am very glad to have followed my instincts at the start of this year. Now, I am happy and richer more than ever. After all, “I am a millionaire! My life is beautiful, all good things are coming to me and money is easy & comes frequently.” That’s my mantra. Try it!
:-)
Hey Tom! The blow out will happen tomorrow. Ako taya sa birthday bash ni Peter at Poquito Mas over at West Gate, Alabang. Mexican Buffet! Then inuman at “wasakan” to follow at home.
If you can make it, punta ka!

Hi aMgiNe! Thanks! I’d like to think so too.
I’ve experienced enough poverty to last me ten lifetimes. So let me enjoy the other side of the spectrum naman.
Koryn! Php100,000/month it is! Consider it done.
hi der! first time in here. i’ve long heard about THE SECRET and it seems effective with you. I guess it’s time i explore it, too.

LJ
Hi Paper Tilapia! First, let me greet you a happy birthday! You said on your blog that it will be this week. I know it’s gonna be awesome, if not yet already.
Anyway, about your comment…WOW…! I was left speechless there for a while…. *still am*….. Thank you for lurking at my blog for quite some time now and for finding wisdom with the things that I have shared about my life. I really appreciate it.
It is people like you who nurture my drive to continue doing what I’m doing. Thanks so much!
Regarding the VA job, I only did it for 8 months. I would’ve loved to continue with it but had to take care of more important personal matters at this time. Hopefully, I get to do it again.
Anyway, on those 8 months that I worked, I was the personal assistant of a TEXAN Real Estate CEO. And by personal, I really mean personal. I checked/answered emails, voicemails, phone calls for him, I paid for all his bills using his credit cards (therefore I had access to most of his bank & credit card accounts) , his mother and wife called me for anything they needed me to do, I bought stuff for him, his wife and kids, I assisted in giving him directions (via google map) real time, I did his itinerary (bought him plane tickets and set up car rentals and hotels when he’s traveling), I took care of the requests of his staff (like getting them couriers to go from one place to another, setting up appointments with him, etc.), I faxed papers for him, I hired other people for him, I forged his signature, I talked to his investors and clients, I was like Pepper Potts of Tony Stark and Andrea Sachs of The Devil Wears Prada all in one! I did anything and everything my boss wanted me to do and more. I was working from 12-18 hours a day depending on his requests and I was always on the phone with him (the company installed a softphone software so I get to have my own US number and I can call people from all over the world with no long distance charge. On those days that it was not working due to some tech problems, we communicated via skype and YM). Kulang na lang, nasa tabi talaga nya ako for real. There were days when I felt like I was his personal slave. It was hard and stressful. But I managed well and the pay was great. It was real work. For someone with a baby and a boo to take care of, it might be a bit hard especially if your boss is like my boss coz he was the center of my universe. He was my focus from the time I logged in to the time I logged out. I worked inside our bedroom. I was usually exhausted after a day’s work that I just literally crawl to bed and collapse into a deep slumber each time. And when I wake up, it’s work again. There were weeks when I can’t even take a bath in 3 straight days coz I’d be too tired. We were paid weekly via bank transfers/remittances but I only went to the bank once a month coz of lack of time. Maybe it’s just the way I am programmed to work. I tend to be real focused so thank God I have no child to take care of my my hubby is very patient with me. But I’m sure with other VA jobs, it’s probably not as hectic. Basically, it’s just like having your personal call center at home. As long as you have your internet, your pc and your headset, you’d be fine. You can work while traveling, while feeding your baby or canoodling with your boo, while lounging in a hotel or resort or at the beach! As long as you have fast internet connection and you don’t easily get distracted, then it’s really an awesome gig. If you’re lucky, there will be training involved. Sakin kasi, sabak agad.
For job opportunities like this, just go to craigslist, elance, freelance, or just google it. When the you are raedy, the whole universe will conspire for you to get it.
Hope this helps! Take care and have fun!
Jen
