I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

It’s been so long since Peter and I last went out on a road trip… just me and him, traversing the exciting southern road, not really knowing where to go. Most of time as you’ve noticed, we always go out with our friends and relatives. Aside from the fact that this makes the trip more affordable since costs are divided among the group, it also makes it more fun. However, Peter and I needed some "alone" time to just be (actually, we need a lot of private time together to compensate for our opposite work schedules) . So last weekend, after my shift at my PA job,which ended at 6am, off we went farther down south feeling our way to where we want to go. We had a room booked at White Castle Resort in Calatagan, Batangas which I googled online. But we didn’t really push thru with it. The pictures were great online but the real place sucks…eeewwww!) .
