Since my entries for the Funboard Cup have long been overdue, let me finish posting about them first with this one last entry (at last!!! whew!!!) before I move on to our Holy Week vacation post in the same piece of paradise (but not quite since the Cup took place in Bulabog beach) in Boracay.

As I was on board my tricycle ride to the Port (left) and my banka ride to Caiclan, I was thinking of Jana. She decided to stay and spend one more night at Bora. She actually had a free massage at Mandala Spa together with Robby Swift, sponsored by Action Asia Magazine. Wow! I was so happy for her! As for me, I juts couldn’t wait to go home.

I am smiling here in the picture coz I’ve had quite enough of the Funboard Cup. It’s just this one last day and I’m going back home to my baboo (Peter). Yay! I think all my energies spent partying, drinking, meeting new people and simply having a fantastic time for the last four consecutive nights drained my mind and body that I just felt like being quiet that Friday morning. I spent a lot of time in this hammock reflecting on the days that passed, thanking God for this wonderful opportunity of fun and adventure. Despite being tired, I did hope to get invited again next year.
The others were in he same mood as well… The winds were down and there was nothingelse to do but eat, talk and simply hang out and enjoy the beach.
Because it was our last day and Jana was in such high spirits, she requested to be photographed with each person we saw. That’s Boyet Sison of ANC’s Hardball.

While most of you were probably out last night, drinking, smoking and dancing the night away with friends and loved ones, I was at MY OFFICE, right inside the comforts of our own bedroom, in front of my ever reliable laptop, beside my strong caramel flavored caffeine booster from Coffee Bean and Tea leaf and my other foodies to keep my brain cells alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic.Yes, I was busy working, making big bucks! And I don’t even regret it! For once, I have a job that stimulates my intellect and caters to my O.C. (obsessive-compulsive) tendencies. Everything that I’ve always longed for in my previous job is here! Everything is so high-tech, I have a very smart, understanding and kind boss, my colleagues don’t bother me with mindless chitchat, there’s no politics and I am free to organize my tasks my own way, in my own time, as long as I get the results my boss needs and wants. It’s sooooo perfect! And when I get tired, I’m already on my bed, ready to stretch, lie down, and rest. When I get lonesome, Peter is just a centimeter away from me, ready to be kissed and hugged, or on those times when Peter goes home so late, the TV is just in front of me ready to keep me company. When I need to free my mind for a few seconds, I’m just a few meters away from our balcony for a fantastic view of the star-filled sky. I just looooove this!
Of course there are times when it gets toxic. After all, I am a virtual assistant, making my boss’ life stress-free, helping him save time, money and even make him more money. How cool is that?! Everyting that I do actually has a direct effect on my boss’ life. Some kind of pressure huh?! Which is just how I like it. I am so glad to have known the principles behind The Secret and I am so happy to have left my previous work in the government at a very opportune time. From what I heard, the situation there has gone from worse to worst and a lot of my friends and colleagues are now resigning too! Good for them! Life is much better outside. Come to think of it, in just a span of 11 working days (March12-14; March 17-19; March 24-28, I’ve already earned more than my one month’s worth of salary before. 75% more to be exact! To think that GSIS is known for high salaries among all the government agencies in the country. Thank you, God! Thank you, universe! All great things are coming to me!

Honestly folks, Jana and I came to a point that we got tired of partying. It was our fifth (free) night in Bora. And every single night since we got there, we went to a different (free) party. It was definitely fun mingling with all these interesting people from all over the world while getting free drinks at it. But we’re human beings after all. And we get tired too. So, after marshaling the entire day, Jana and I decided to first hang out inside our room, ordering room service (for free) and watching HBO. Harvey was texting us non-stop, asking where we were. So we invited him to our room for a threesome (wait for it…) private room party! Hahaha! It’s not what you think, you green-minded people! We just hung out for a while, talked, ate, watched TV…stuff that normal adults do. Hehehe.

Despite the fact that the party the previous night was a blast, all kiters and windsurfers still managed to wake up early the next day and greet the clouds and wind a very happy surfing morning!
While marshals went about their duties, surfers prepared their gears…
Then it’s chill time as we wait for the winds to pick up speed…
