You Can Earn Money From Home

February 21, 2008

Hi guys!

Those who are frustrated writers out there can now make their dreams come true. Actually, even if you’re not good at it, as long as you can give an abstract/summary about a book you’ve read or a movie you’ve seen, you get paid all the same! And you can do this on your spare time.

Find out more about it in SHVOONG.

Check out some of the summaries I did to get an idea what this is all about:

BATMAN YEAR ONE

CORALINE

EVERYONE WORTH KNOWING

KINGDOM COME

MIRROR MASK

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

TRUE BELIEVER

UNDEAD SERIES

VENETIAN’S WIFE

Also, check out other online opportunities I wanna share with you…

Photohunt 97: Free

 I got to know about Photohunter thru Alohapenny. Anyway, I know it’s late into the week but I guess it’s still worth a try to join. You should too! It’s fun!  :-)

 ~~~oOo~~~
This is our adopted dog, Samantha. Sam  for short. She was a gift to us almost a month ago by an old college friend who couldn’t take care of her anymore. The time she came into our lives was just so perfect. I was then considering buying a shih-tzu because it was unbeknownst to me that my hubby wanted a basset hound all along. Then poof! This little bundle of joy was given to us! Although she has parasites in her blood, is currently taking three antibiotics and eating a special medicated dog food diet, we couldn’t be any happier! After a week with us, she already gained a pound! She’s due to see her vet this weekend. Wish us luck! My hubby and I hope she’s all better.
Work & Volunteer Abroad!
As much as I was too lazy yesterday to do anything productive, today, my mind is just so active! I’ve been awake for more than fifteen hours and it seems like I won’t be getting sleep until later this morning. Yes, my body clock has gone berserk. Anyway, I have been thinking that since I have plans of going to Cebu and Bacolod this summer, plus another two weeks of vacation in Jakarta and Bali, Indonesia, then why not spend a month in Boracay too? Then I’d really get to see for myself what it would be like to be a real islander and not just a tourist on a vacation. Or better yet, I ought to visit some remote country or region and experience another kind of life like I never did before! For instance, why not go to Paris, France? Well? Hmmm…
I remember back in high school, Mer & I made this pact that come May 18, 2008, we’ll go to Paris. Wishful thinking, huh? Pretty much, yes. But there are ways of making our dreams come true. If not Paris, then maybe New Zealand or Sri Lanka… Maybe even Germany, Bolivia, Ghana, etc. The list can go on and on. How can this be possible, you might ask? Well, there is such a thing called Volunteer Program where people are encouraged to work part-time or as volunteers in the country of their choice while at the same time using this opportunity to travel and explore. Board and lodging come free and those who go really get to have a once in a lifetime cultural experience plus pocket money to boot! Volunteer Programme offers various courses and opportunities ranging from agriculture (like picking fruits, farming, taking care of horses and other livestock), education (language studies), to tourism (hotel receptionist, housekeeping, etc.). The program’s period varies too. It can last from a month to a year depending on your choice. Isn’t this cool?! It’s so exciting! Let’s check it out and see which program can fit us.
