Freedom…

Or is it just mere laziness? You be the judge. Since the day I filed for resignation (Dec. 17, 2007), this is the first time that I am just so lazy to do anything productive. I slept at around 2am and woke up at 3pm. That’s more than half a day worth of sleep! I didn’t even notice that Peter had gone off to work already! Bad, bad…Hehehe. It helped that I was dreaming about two handsome men.. Hihihi… I wonder who they represent in my life right now? I ought to do some dream interpretation real soon…

I think this state started on the night of my birthday. We were supposed to go to Tagaytay. But because we haven’t had much sleep and rest  since  my birthday hoopla  last Saturday, we decided to just have a quiet and simple dinner at  the French Corner here in Alabang West Gate. 

We had a sumptious Indonesian Roasted Chicken sandwhich and Nasi Goreng Noodles at Bali Blends then transfered to Cafe Breton for some desserts and cappuccino. Not only did we get the taste we were craving for, but we also experienced a certain kind of cold we only experienced in Tagaytay, Baguio and Hong Kong. It was THAT cold! I should’ve worn a more appropriate attire for the weather but Peter’s heat will suffice.. Hehehe.
 

And Other Random Thoughts…

I was scheduled to have my driving lessons but for some reason, I just don’t feel like doing it YET. For one, I’m scared. Two, I’ll be leaving Manila for more than a month very soon so what’s the point of learning it now when I know I’ll forget it eventually due to lack of immediate and constant practice? And three, the "bed weather" we’re having for the past several days is just too comfortable  to make me think and move. Hehehe.

Other than the driving lessons, I also tasked myself to do some closet ransacking for my summer garage sale here at home, do the bulacan house rental contract, buy new ink for the nail art machine, update our household cash flow and watch TV. Yes, watching cable is included in my to-do list. Coz what’s the point of having cable lines installed if I won’t be using it, right? It’s just that I’m not a fan of cable TV. I’d rather go online or read books as you can see. But what the heck. I learned a lot from watching Oprah and Suze Orman just the other night.

So, I think it’s ok to be officially lazy for a change. It’s the main reason why I resigned anyway. To rest… and just be me. Whoever that is,  will depend on my mood — the O.C. me, the rocker chick me, the sassy me, the sophisticated me, the groupie me, the geeky me… the list is endless! Oh, speaking of the O.C. me, have I told you I did all the cleaning and organizing of our house to make it look like a restobar? Yeah, that was all me! And I loved every minute of it (including the clean up part after the party when everyone was already asleep)! I am weird.

This is the life! Simple, happy and free! I can’t help but sing my fave song in my head (the song that made my little sister a millionaire):

Peter was laughing at me the other night. He caught me looking at Jobstreet.com and "applying" for a job. I said "I was not!!!" I was just checking the alert they emailed me. "Yeah, right!", he said. But really, I was just checking. I’ll never get tired of my bumhood. Never. And it’s  a good thing that it’s ok with Popsy and Peter. Coz I might just do this for good. Until I get bored with it anyway. I am ironic huh? I just said never and now I’m saying til I get bored with it. Sorry, I’m just writing down my thoughts. And yes, I am that flighty.

So anyway, there’s one thing I did today that can be considered productive…

  And now, I feel like watching TV. Ciao!
