Home Service Expert

Have I told you that I’m partly American? I know it does not show in my color since I am more or less, sort of, live by the beach half of the year, thus my tan color. Nevertheless, I am an Adams and my dad pretty much looks like the singer Bryan Adams (my dad is only more handsome if I may say so). But that is not my point. The point is, with this American blood running in my system, it’s no wonder that I do adore almost everything American and my values have always been westernized in principle, even when it comes to home services. Being a homemaker now, a housewife in particular, it is important for me to know how to manage my own home effectively. And so do young wives and homemakers out here. A lot of things can go wrong and it’s always better to stay prepared. Disasters like fire, typhoons and other calamities could strike, I might want a bigger lot for a nice-looking garden, I definitely would want some damaged furniture repaired A.S.A.P. and I would always want to continue beautifying our home. With all these concerns in my head, I need a home service company that can perfectly deliver these types of services. Therefore,  if I may say so, I believe American Home Shield is the way to go. They offer a lot of these and more — services that are centered in the beautification and protection of one’s home. Isn’t that awesome?! All these services in just one core company! Woohoo!

Protection For Our Home

I know we have been in our not-so-new home for almost seven months now.  Yeah, time does fly fast when one is having fun! And although our village is still quite new — many of the owners have not yet moved in and most of the units are still on the market, I’ve already seen some signs of pest contamination, or so they might seem, I’m still not quite sure though. But it’s better to be careful from the start, right? Anyway, I would sometimes see ants crawling near my front yard, under the bermuda grass, inside my dog Sam’s play pen and near the garbage cans; some of my potted plants have already been attacked by aphids;  there are some unknown flat insects pasted on my lanai walls; two cocoons are perched in my corner ceiling; and mosquitoes are just everywhere! I even bought several bottles of insect repellant lotion and spray cans just to get rid of them everyday. And to think that most of my furniture are made of wood, there might even be some termite colony somewhere. So to be sure that our house stays protected from these pests, I ought to contact a pest control specialist, like those guys from Terminix, to do some diagnostics and remedies.  I heard they guarantee quality pest termination performance by using the most advanced technology for pest control possible! Oh, I’m sure they will make our life more beautiful and peaceful. Let me go contact them now. You should too!

Building Paradise

During my recent stay in the province, I did not only stay in my sister’s house and visited some quaint resto bars. One day, in the middle of the week, I visited my husband’s aunt and uncle who were then renovating their home. They got this 1,152 square meter land on top of a hill at a very cheap price. It even came with several mahogany and various fruit-bearing tees. It was literally jungle-like out there the first time I visited them.  Now, the main house is already livable and they managed to build a guesthouse and a shack at opposite corners. It was really starting to look homey and nice. However, the remaining piece of land still needs some work.  With the many trees, shrubs and flower-bearing grass and plants, I can’t help but wonder how will they take care of these things? Pests could destroy these lovely living things and that would be tragic. Moreover, wouldn’t they want to have their property landscaped to maximize its utility and become pleasing to the eyes as well? I know my aunt-in-law is gifted when it comes to decorating and landscaping. Nevertheless, for this big a lot, she really needs to call on the experts like Tru Green. Then perhaps next year, when I visit them again, their residence will look like a piece of paradise. Now, that’s something to really look forward to, eh?
