I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream, go where I want to go and be what I want to be. After all, we only have this one life to do what really matters most.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! P.S. I learned of this song thru my sister Abba. I’ve been hearing it in bars for so long now but I never really took the time to know its lyrics. Last night, while my sister, her gf Chris and I were at this cute little joint in Cebu, wasting the night away while waiting for my 4 a.m. Cebu Pacific flight back to Manila, she told me her story…
With the help of this song, my little sister (who is now 25 years old, who resigned from her boring call center job almost two years ago, broke and depressed at that time, with only this song playing in her head over and over) earned P1.5 million in a period of three months following her resignation!!! And she was only working her ass off for the first few weeks and the rest was spent playing PSP, eating, drinking, smoking, sleeping, spending time with her GF and conceptualizing ways to invest her money while her funds accumulated in the bank. That was her mantra — to be rich without working so much. It’s still her mantra ’til now. And from nothing, out came her million pesoses! (No, she didn’t join the lottery in case you’re wondering.)
She’s now living independently in Cebu, with a couple of small businesses and a Pajero of her own. That’s the power of knowing how to apply The Secret! Kudos to my sis! Abba, you’re my ultimate super idol!!! Why didn’t you tell me about this sooner?! Hehehe! Woohoo!!! I want to be a carefree millionaire too! I’m claiming it! I’m a carefree millionaire!
