ALL GOOD THINGS ARE COMING TO ME!

January 4, 2008

Since Peter and I got saved from getting drowned in our most recent surfing trip, and since I got to read Rhonda Byrne’s THE SECRET, my life has been, is, and will always be A SERIES OF MIRACLES.  The law of attraction really works!  It doesn’t matter whether what you think about the most or focus on is good or bad, as long as you are passionate about it, you get to attract it one way or another. It’s amazing!  So what I do these days is  focus on my mantra and feel it happening NOW. Not in the future but NOW

” All good things are coming to me. Money is easy and comes frequently”.

I’ve told you about the little miracles that I keep attracting before. And it just keeps on going. Like last weekend, I kept on thinking about Jem. She’s one of my dearest best friends during my call center days in Etelecare (year 2000-2001). She’s now doing great work in AMEX (American Express) but we’ve always managed to keep in touch. Deep down,  I just couldn’t stop being passionate about her, whether in a good way or not-so-good way. Recently, I had some not-so-good issues with her… some sort of misunderstanding. She invited me to meet up in her hotel room in Makati but because of the negative thoughts and feelings  I had on New Year’s day, I couldn’t make myself go. I texted her about it hoping she’d understand. And lo and behold! She went all the way from Makati to Alabang just because she really wanted to see me and to tell me that she loves me. I practically melted. I was just so happy to see her! All my defenses came tumbling down… She even brought us plants for the house and a  set of para-grams (by Paramahansa Yogananda) that she got from a Self-Realization Fellowship in Los Angeles, California since she’s now based in Phoenix, Arizona. We talked ’til dawn and watched The Secret. I even gave her a DVD copy of it just so she can go back to it every once in a while. It practically teaches the same principles and laws as her yoga lessons and we are just so amazed at how this quest for spirituality is giving us all we want, NO EXCEPTIONS. God is indeed good!

Speaking of being able to have what we want, guess what? Just today, I got so many miracles/blessings!

1. My sister gave me a business proposal without me having to shell out any capital. She’ll take care of the finances, research, marketing and a bit of PR while I do the operations at 60-40 profit share, until she gets back her capital and then we’ll share the profit 50-50. Not bad! I’m currently building its website and I’ll introduce it to you next month.

2. I got invited to help organize an event called the BORACAY INTERNATIONAL FUNBOARD CUP for next week, January 7-13, 2008, all expenses paid (plane fare, accommodations, food, transfers, allowances). It will be a chance for me to meet new people, establish contacts for the businesses I’m planning to set up and just basically learn the ropes of organizing such an event. So, the moment I read the text message, I felt a tingling sensation in my whole body and I just knew and felt that I will be there. Without hesitation, I filed for a forced leave despite the fact that the reason why I wasn’t allowed to resign on Jan. 2 was because of the bulk of work I had to do. But I willed it to happen. I claimed that next week, I’ll be in the land of paradise. True enough, my leave application was approved, I confirmed my participation and I’ll be flying to Boracay early Monday morning! Woohoo! God is good!

3. Early this evening, our helper texted me that we won in our village’s Christmas Decor Contest. We should be home by 6pm tomorrow otherwise, we’ll forfeit our cash prize.  I was ecstatic but I wasn’t surprised. We knew we would win. We willed it to happen since last November when we were just starting to decorate our house right after Halloween. Indeed, we attracted what we thought! We are now creating our own destinies!

And since I wasn’t particular with my mantra, all good things are really coming to me, even little blessings …  I got two gifts today. One is a calendar and the other is a Multi functional Combination Metallic Calendar. I loved them! They’re perfect for my new office at home. I was also visited by two friends in the office (Dojie and Irene of MDP) who I seldom see but sometimes think about. Then my sister told me that Cebu Pacific just opened their piso fare promo. So I was able to book us a cheap flight for our Holy Week stay in Boracay. Life is good! God is good! And it just keeps getting better. :-) AMEN!

Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is filled with instances of The Secret principles. Read a short essay that draws parallels between the message of The Secret and the 19th century English novel here http://humanscience.wikia.com/wiki/The_Principles_of_The_Secret_in_Pride_and_Prejudice

Hey Gladys! I read it and my gosh, I was awed by her story. Thanks for sharing this with me. :-)
