Early New Year Pahtee!!!

As an early welcome to 2008 (Dec. 30, 2007), Vina and Kiko visited us at home and threw a private party just for the four of us. They brought ingredients for the 3 dishes which they later cooked in our very own little kitchen — Vina's Corned Beef Spaghetti, Kiko's Chicken Cordon Bleu and Crispy Liempo. While Peter merely prepared Guavatinis (guava martini) and Appletinis for us girls (apple martini). Me? Nada. Hehe. What do I know about food? I just eat 'em! Hahaha!

So of course, to make this  private party an awesome one, I did some general cleaning and prepared everything. As in everything — from cleaning the whole house, to the pots and pans they will use, to the table setting, to the room they will use to spend the night. And I enjoyed every minute of it! Told yah I'm such a homebody!

Anyway, finally they arrived and I couldn't be any happier! Vina and Kiko are really one heck of a love team! From the heat they exude in bed (yeah, trust me… I KNOW) to the heat they make in the kitchen! They're really perfect for each other. The best couple ever!!!

 
So, since I'm so inept in the kitchen, I busied myself in front of the videoke, doing one of my most favorite things in the world… singing.
 

Minutes later, Vina rested for a bit. She wanted to see our little garden so we spent some time there just updating each other about the ins and outs of our lives (as if di kami nagtetext everyday noh? Hahaha!).

Then we transfered venues (ha! parang anlaki ng bahay ah!). We hung out at the bar without noticing that Peter just kept on serving us his appletinis and guavatinis. Nah. We didn't get drunk. YET. Soon, the food was ready!!!! Yahoo!!!!

Man, that was sumptuous! Well, why wouldn't it be when Kiko is a restauranteur in Cavite. Ha! You didn't know that noh? Gotcha! Kaya talaga naman super sarap ng food namin! Sa totoo lang, even until this morning, binabanatan pa rin namin ni Peter yung luto nila Vina & Kiko. Super dami and super sarrraapppp!!!!

Afterwards, it was time to get sloshed. Actually, ako lang yata nalasing. And you know me when I'm drunk. I get super talkative, loud, wild and emotional. So while the boys were singing the night away, Vina and I were just bonding like crazy.

I am so thankful for all the blessings 2007 has given me and I can't wait for 2008 to be more awesome than any other year! Vina, Kiko, thank you so much for spending this time of the year with me and Peter. God indeed loves me so. Coz you not only brought us food on our table, friendship in our hearts, but more importantly, hope & gratitude for all the abundance that we are still going to receive and more. Vina, you are one true best friend that any person will be very lucky to have. Your joy, generosity, sincerity, kindness and selflessness are rare traits one can see in people these days. And I am so thankful to have you in my life. You are a true gem, MY GEM, who I will keep forever. I love you so much, bes!!! You help change my life for the better. I will always cherish you and our memories together. Cheers to true friendship, to love, to life!!!
