My preference is still to stay at home, do my thing and continue to be amazed at the fact that I never get bored despite warnings I got from loved ones (go figure). But because I did miss my friends too, I managed to overcome my house separation anxiety for a while and spent fun times with them this Holiday Season.

The attack of the 4 female dwarves at the cafe!
Another instance was when Peter and I met up with our girlfriends Ninette, Jowi and Peachie at Caffe Puccini at The Fort, evening of Dec. 28, 2007. Originally, it was Peachie's idea to meet with us. We were planning on doing it in Makati. But due to the Holiday rush, Peachie had to attend a late night meeting which ended at around 11:30 pm and I couldn't find any decent place to hang out in Jupiter area. I didn't feel like going to Greenbelt nor did I want to go to Ziggurat near Mandarin Hotel, which I loved, and I actually mulled over if I wanted to revisit. But I want some place new to me where my friends and I can talk and chill. So off to The Fort we went.
Ninette: Mare, ang ganda naten!
Peachie: Kami rin, maganda!
Jowi: Hoy, kami pinakamaganda!
Ninette suggested a couple of places like Piedra, Jill's, Jack's, Cafeteria, Cuisine but I wanted a spot which is not so noisy and crowded. Good thing we found Caffe Puccini. It was refreshing being out at night again especially when I'm with my girlfriends. Too bad we started out late like past 10pm already. And by 2am I was already quite tired and sleepy.
Half Puccini, half Cebu pizza!
Best seller ito. For P470, ang laki!!!
But we did manage to walk around a bit and we noticed that "By God! It's Prom Night here every night!" Hahaha! It was so much fun looking at yuppies and tweenies dressed up stylishly in 80's outfits. It brings back a lot of fun memories (yeah, I'm an 80's kid). If I'd known that people dress up this way here, I would've shopped for my own "prom dress" too. Bwahahaha! Next time…

Tanong: So, sino pinakamaganada? Sagot: Yung photographer na si Peter.
And what's up with these people hanging out outside Embassy, Prince of Jaipur, well practically outside every bar there is?! According to Ninette, as long as you've hung out outside Embassy, you can start telling your friends that you've been INSIDE Embassy too...! Oh. Well, sabagay, I did see Georgina Wilson outside with a bunch of her unknown long-legged and stylishly clad girlfriends. Plus this way-beyond-wasted-almost naked-girl being protected by her friends (coz her vajayjay was already showing for everyone to feast their eyes on) as they wait for their chauffeur to pick them up. Gad! I just found everything so…. shallow. Gad, I'm old!
Oh my God! Pumayat na si Santa sa mga babaeng ito!
On the other hand, I did have my share of crazy experiences when I was just 21 and for the most part of my 20's. So, okay then, let them party their lives away! Hahaha! C'est la vie!
