Dinner at Carlo’s Pizza, MOA branch

As you all know by now, I’ve been staying at MOA (Mall of Asia) for 2-3 hours, waiting for Peter to pick me up before heading home. Sometimes, I’d eat somewhere and read a book like when I tried Carlo’s Pizza for the first time then went to Kopi Rotti.

This week, it’s a good thing that there were errands that needed to be done so I was able to use my time doing more productive things like grocery shopping, getting our MTV Summit tickets from Smart,  inquiring about Smart Bro’s Internet Cafe promo, blogging, etc. Yesterday, Friday, I didn’t have anything else to do and Peter was still in the office. So I ended up dating myself. Hahaha! It was fun! After some window shopping (nothing in the boutiques’ display windows caught my attention which is a good thing), I bought myself a fruit shake and tuna wrap then headed to the cinemas and bought a ticket for The Golden Compass…

Oh my God!!! It was freaking awesome, dudes and dudettes!!!! It was even better than all the Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring movies combined!!! Cinematography was perfect; the characters had depth; the story line was mind-boggling; the screenplay was to die for; and I didn’t even notice the time go by. I will definitely watch it again with Peter and buy myself a DVD copy. Watch it! you’ll know what I mean.

"I am my perfect weight and my perfect body."

The movie finished at around 8:30 and Peter was still 30 minutes away. so I explored the mall a bit and saw this line of tiangges near the bay. Wowoweeeee!!!! Several things caught my attention this time and I ended up buying more than I hoped for — 4 bars of organic soap for only P100, 4 pairs of capiz and swarovsky earrings at P500, 4 native bracelets for P100 and a bronze metal wall decor for P800. There were also several food stalls selling puto bumbong, crepes and rice meals. We had two rice meals, a barbeque and 2 softdrinks in can, all for only P160. Not bad!!!

Satiated, we walked around a bit and was mesmerized by the colorful fountain along the bay. We noticed that there were other restaurants opening up for business. Like Pier One, with a very different motif. It looks like the tip of a light house. Nice!  Tired and quite sleepy, we headed home, happy as can be, hoping to enjoy the rest of our weekend. You too, folks!
