Eureka!

December 5, 2007

I have started with a new set of mantras since our Boracay weekend. Three mantras to be precise. They are as follows:

“All good things are coming to me. Money is easy and comes frequently.”

“ I am my perfect weight and my perfect body.”

“ I am the owner of a series of condo rental units and the Sexy Nomad’s Hot Travel Essentials Shop.”

I learned to do these mantras from The Secret, an amazing book by Rhonda Byrnes. Before, I used to write a "bookworm post" for every book I finish reading. Now, I plan to share with you my personal experiences to show how The Secret works.

Ok, to give you a brief background, it actually summarizes all the teachings I have learned from Stephen Covey (8th Habit), Andrew Matthews (Being Happy), Chin Ning Chu (Thick Face, Black Heart), Paolo Coelho (The Alchemist) and the Holy Bible and all those other self-help books I’ve read at one point or another. Simply put:

“You attract what you think.” — Being Happy

“Seek and ye shall find.” — Holy Bible

“If it’s for you, the whole universe will conspire in order for you to get it” — The Alchemist

“Find your voice and inspire others to find theirs.” — 8th Habit

So what The Secret is basically telling us is that it doesn’t matter what we want. Whether it’s as small as one peso or as big as a million pesos, it’s all the same to the Universe. The universe has no concept of time nor quantity. It just gives and gives. You just have to visualize what you want, ask for it, believe that it is already here, feel good and grateful and live as if you already have what you want. Don’t worry about the how or when. Just be specific and feel good that you already have what you want, NOW. Not yesterday, not tomorrow or in some future time, but NOW. This is very crucial. Live as if you already are a millionaire, for instance, and the universe will find a way to bring you your millions of pesos.

Moving on, I’ve been feeling rather high lately. I feel so rich and lucky. I feel that indeed, all good things are coming to me. This morning alone, an official document came out describing the interim organizational structure of our group. In that order, I am designated to an acting position that is 5 steps higher than my current one. Even if I didn’t ask for this, I am still grateful to be given such opportunity . Well, actually, I always said I will not get promoted. Apparently, the universe nor our mind/thought (where all creation comes from) does not acknowledge the negative. It just acknowledges the subject in question (which is "promoted") and so it brought me to it (getting promoted). And in time, I will receive a much higher salary than what I am getting.

Another wonderful thing happened this afternoon. A Smart agent called me up saying that as their loyal subscriber, I won tickets for the MTV Summit of Dec. 12. Awesome! I’ve never been to one and this might be a nice chance to mingle with MTV stars and fanatics, for free!!!!

Also, I got free breakfast, lunch, and dinner today. I never expected these food blessings. And last, but not the least, a big amount of money is coming my way which is again, a blessing since I need to settle some outstanding loan. Indeed, all good things are coming to me. Money is easy and comes frequently.

Buy the book, now!!!! I promise you, it will help you change your life! And once it does, let me know. It’s good for testimonials of this sort to be broadcast to more people. Spread the good news, folks!

I also read that book! It’s really amazing. The Law of Attraction really does have effects. My mom recommended that I read it and it’s a very nice book.

We also bought a DVD in Metrowalk about The Secret. It’s supposed to be that bundle along with the book. :)

uy i’ve watched this na! actually, very simple lang naman ang concept na tinuturo niya…mas mamomotivate ka lang pag pinanuod or binasa mo kasi you’ll be amazed by the case studies they presented.

I’m not good at remembering stalls in Metrowalk but if you will ask for an HMW of The Secret, they will sure hand you one :)

this is awesome jen. i have heard a lot of positive feedbacks from people who have read the secret and you have proof that it is indeed effective.

i used to be inspired by the alchemist’s “the whole universe will conspire in order for you to get it”, now i just believe in the opposite. :(

i hope i achieve the same lust for life that you have now. i’ll try to get a copy of the books that you mentioned here. i’m particularly interested in thick face, black heart. thanks very much. :)
