Hi Folks! This is a continuation from the wake boarding trip we had last Nov. 17-18, 2007. Check it out here and here to complete the entire travelogue. Enjoy!
This is me knee boarding…
The next morning, we woke up early and ordered some breakfast. I
tried using their wi-fi services and luckily my laptop got a connection, however slow. Our morning was uneventful. I frolicked in their swimming pool and contemplated whether I’ll wake board again or not. My arms were still killing me from yesterday’s short session. Until I was able to psyche myself and off we went to the station. We were the first ones there. The water was so calm and I was the first customer for that morning. And guess what? I completed one whole round!!! Woooohhhooooo!!!! I did it twice and by then my arms felt like they were made of lead. I tried one more time, only to fall off as soon as my wire got hooked. I was already dead tired. Upper body strength is indeed needed for this kind of activity. Next time!
This is Peachie, doing an excellent job at knee boarding….
Check-out was supposed to be at 11am and I was able to ask for an extension until 12nn. Peter tried doing it standing up but he was only able to run a few meters from the station. Maybe if we do this more regularly (like every other weekend we’re not some place else, we can master this sport in no time at all).
Going home was a lot fun too! We dropped by Amira’s Buko Tart Haus and ordered several delicacies for pasalubong.
We then headed to Josephine’s hoping that they serve ala carte menu for lunch. They do! Yay! We ordered beef and Chicken Pochero (Peter’s favorite but he seldom orders it), Grilled Seafood platter, Baked mussels, Grilled Beef Spare Ribs, Iced Tea, and Quencher (Lime, Orange, Mango, Pineapple shake). Afterwards, we went outside and had coffee, Tiramisu Cake and Coffee Sansrival. Total food trip!!! All the calories we burnt wake boarding? We again gained plus more! Hahaha!
