I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! I remember back in 2000, when I got my second job as a Marketing Officer in an internet company, which means a little bit more income than what I got in my first job as a Prep teacher, the first thing I did was invest a small amount in some form of Family Insurance plan. Hi guys! It's weekend once again! My favorite time of the week…hehehe. Nah, I didn't go to any gimmicks tonight. Actually I went home early and packed for our trip to Tagaytay and Batangas later at around 4 a.m., with our Ateneo friends Peachie, her sister Marichit, Rea and Jamie. We plan to catch the sunrise at Caleruega, have breakfast at Josephine's and check-in at Lago de Oro in Calatagan for some wake boarding adventure. I'll tell you all about it when we come back.
As for my pending posts, I still owe you the third part of our MDP trip to Punta Fuego last September, the final leg of our Vis-Min trip last 2005, some movies I've seen, my plan of setting up an online shop, setting up new blogs and of course my upcoming private post that will describe in detail the most fantabulous weekend vacation we've had last Halloween.
