I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

Despite the fact that Halloween has just finished and the weather still can't decide whether it wants to rain or shine, admit it, you can also feel that Christmas is in the air, right? I was not supposed to decorate until November 15 but our helper Emy, can't sleep with all the gory Halloween decorations around the house. So, a few days after our spooky party, we put down all the scary stuff and thought that perhaps it would be nice to start readying the house for Christmas… So, that's what we did. It' not yet complete though. So far, this is what we've got. I'll be updating you on it from time to time. We'll also be joining our village's House Decor contest. The first prize winner will get P5000. Not bad. I hope we pass the criteria. I'm not one to follow rules pa naman. Hmmm. I'll just do what I want with the house and it'll be a bonus if the judges let us win.
With all these preparations, I plan to make the most out of it by throwing another potluck Christmas party on December 8, 9pm onwards. There'll be exchange of gifts, dancing, a video contest, tequila contest, beer drinking contest, a dating game for the singles and best kiss game for couples. I'll provide the prizes and real food. What do yah think? Cool? Lemme know if you can come dear friends.
