I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! I missed Brownman Revival (BMR) soooo much! One of the things I especially miss about them is this version of a song by Big Mountain, THE ONLY ONE. I first heard BMR sing this almost three years ago at 70’s Bistro, long before I was friends with Dino and the rest of the band. I just love this song so much! For almost a year now, I’ve always been requesting Dino to sing it coz it just touches me right to the core. I guess it took them a while to include it in their most wanted play list and now I just couldn’t be any happier…
This was taken a month ago when I least expected them to sing it. As you can see, I was already so drunk when I took this video, thus, the swaying motion.
While this was taken last Friday at Xaymaca.

Yeah, Peter and I went to Xaymaca last Friday, October 5, 2007, to watch BMR play. They’ve been out of town most of the time and we only caught them live last Friday night.

One thing I learned about going to Xaymaca and watching Brownman Revival play is that it’s always more fun dancing and listening to their beat when I’m drunk. However, I was supposed to have my check-up the next day so I refrained from drinking. Thus, my sober state. Too bad coz the check-up thing never materialized as I woke up so late the following day. Hahaha! I knew I should’ve ordered lots of cosmo instead. Hehehe. Next time…

Aside from my solid set of girlfriends (Mer, Michelle, Joan and Jowi), I also met Daena (again) and Cathy (for the 1st time). They’re both looking so gorgeous that night. It made me think to never eat again, hehehe. But who am I kidding when I’m married to a “chef”. So there went my delusions of becoming thin down the drain. Hahaha!
