Last Thursday, September 13, 2007, I paid the down payment of my Yaris which amounted to around P170,000 inclusive of LTO registration and insurance. It's so surreal for me. I didn't feel any excitement or anything beyond neutral for that matter. It was just like any ordinary thing like eating and sleeping. Weird… When I processed it, I guess I was just protecting myself from being too attached to it this early. After all, it's on loan and God only knows if we can really complete the purchase of my new baby in five years. I hope so. I think we can manage.
So anyway, we opted to have it parked in Toyota Alabang first until we can get its new plate number on Sept. 29. Besides, I figured I'd be very busy with my final thesis paper (which I just printed by the way), house renovations, and some weekend travels I needed to make.
Here's some pictures we took with my Yaris. Peter said that perhaps, this is still not so real to me since it's not yet parked at home, I still haven't driven it, and most importantly, I still haven't taken so many pictures of it. So maybe, these couple of shots will help me feel more excited about it.
She's sooooo cute!!! Now, I really need to learn how to drive again. It's been five years since I last drove one! Aaaaaarrrrggghhhh! I'm sooo scared!!!
WOOOW! that’s sweet…congrats! =)
*safe driving
Hey huys, thanks! Hmmm…maybe i’ll name HIM Zach after Zach Efron, my latest crush from the movie Hairspray. Hehehe. Yeah, I’ll make him a guy since Peter’s Revo is Rave, in short for Rachel Veronica.
I like your new car…. “Rave” Gandang Name…
Good luck sa Driving lesson. Kaya mo yan… just enjoy driving!!!
Nice car, Jen! Kelan kaya kami magkakaron ng ganyan? Hahaha. My husband is so eager to buy a new car. But since we’re still paying for the amortization of our house, I told him not to get one yet. Matatapos na kasi kami sa bahay after 2 years. Eh ayoko naman i-sacrifice ang mga luho namin anoh. Hahahaha.

Posted by Pau at September 21, 2007, 10:01 amSweetie, tnx! Hay naku, I will really learn how to drive, even if it kills me! Last night, this van I was riding almost rejected me coz ang layo daw ng bababaan ko. Buti two other passengers are going down at North Gate kaya pumayag na rin sha, otherwise, sa SM Southmall nya ko pinapababa. E di sasakay na naman ako ng isa pang fx. Ang hirap kaya mag-commute! I was carrying some groceries pa man din! Hay! Na-stress ako. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, after I learn how to drive ZACH, I will never commute again!
Posted by sexynomad at September 21, 2007, 11:42 amHey Honney! I admire your high EQ. It will definitely pay off in the future and you can have whatever it is that you want. Samin naman, it’s just a matter of exchanging 50k worth of monthly shopping and splurging to having a new house and car. E I notice, andami kong bags, shoes, clothes and some gadgets na naluluma lang sa cabinet ko. So I figured, it’s time to invest in something more important and permanent. Plus, there’s always going to be bonuses from work where I can indulge in all my luho. Altho at this point, parang sawa na rin ako sa shopping. I just wanna enjoy our new house, and become a really responsible driver. It’s a new skill that I will have to learn and that’s what’s exciting me right now. hehehe. Cguro kasi, I’m getting old and my priorities are slowly changing. You’re young. Enjoy life muna! Don’t make sacrifices you’re not meant to do just yet. In God’s time, it will all happen.
Take care!
Hey Pau! I saw one in silver and it depressed the hell out of me! Parang pang-lolo ang dating. So I got red! It’s not the typical subdued red. it’s PUTA RED. Astig! Hehehe!:-)
