After work, my MDP group mates and I went to Mall of Asia and watched INVASION starred by Nicole Kidman. It’s a sci-fi flick about an alien organism or virus that integrated with the human physiological system and turned them into stable emotionless beings. It’s not your typical Nicole Kidman type of movie but hey, she really has this flare for doing weird kinds of movies. It was fun.
A couple of shrieks here and there inside the cinema and it means I was definitely enjoying the thrill of it all! Hehehe. Afterwards, I did some window shopping on my own, looking for nice new furniture that would fit with what I wanted for our house (I wanted certain themes for different parts of the house, but mostly, native Filipino/ beach type). Unfortunately, I didn’t find any that suit my taste. I was already having another bout of migraine thinking about interior designs when my other girlfriends from work called me. They’re going to MOA too and they invited me to join them.

I was contemplating on just going home coz I felt like I was going to get sick. But Ate Rose and Ninette were very insistent and they even bought me medicine so I can feel better. They’re really sweet and thoughtful, I’m so lucky! So we ended up bonding that night together wit Anmarie, Vangie and Liz. Peter eventually met with us too at around past 9pm. They missed him so! It’s been a while since I last went out with my girls and I’m glad I stayed. I had so much fun just listening to all their stories and banters! Hehehe! They can’t wait for me to graduate from MDP so we can finally schedule our next surfing trip! Soon… very soon.

We woke up quite early for a typical Saturday, around 9 a.m.,to eat a hearty breakfast (it was actually our dinner last night but since we went home pretty late, we weren’t able to eat anymore what our cook prepared for us — Inihaw na bangus and steamed okra — and immediately went to bed instead out of sheer exhaustion).
At around 1pm, we checked out Toyota Alabang Branch. We immediately caught sight of a Yaris and tried it. It felt so comfy inside and it’s not as compact as it looks. It was actually very cozy and spacious! We also checked out the new Avanza and the New Vios (which is really the Yaris Sedan abroad). And now, Picanto is out and the New Vios is in. It’s just a matter of time before we finally decide which one to get. Hmmmm….Yaris? New Vios? Yaris? New Vios? …Yaris?…
The New Vios… to be or not to be (mine)…
After getting all the computations we needed to see and filling out some forms for bank approval, we headed to Festival Mall where Peter showed me this shop of antiques and wooden furniture! My heart skipped a beat! They had everything I was looking for! And in less than an hour, we shopped for furniture made of Narra, Molave, and Yakal. Compared to what I saw in other furniture shops in SM including Our Home and Kultura Pilipino, the pieces here are not so expensive and made of real hard wood. All in all, we got 10 furniture pieces and it only cost P43,100 plus extra P140 for having them delivered at our place. Not bad! By 4pm, we were in a hurry back home so we can freshen up for the i.ph eyeball at Metrowalk.

I think these were the only shots Peter got of himself with pretty girls Trish and Maricris.
