I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream, go where I want to go and be what I want to be. After all, we only have this one life to do what really matters most.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

Every time I feel like I’m losing my sense of identity, my real self, Cyndi Lauper’s song TRUE COLORS does it for me.
And like this last couple of days, when I think that I’m all alone in this conundrum of mine, Irene Cara’s OUT HERE ON MY OWN helps me thresh out these negative thoughts and feelings.
And my all-time favorite song, STAY, by Lisa Loeb, just makes me smile with the memories of my good ol’ high school days.

Exactly my thoughts dear! Too bad, we can’t use it when we’re haging out at home. I will still eventually buy a new one. I just want it fixed by an electrician first. If it doesn’t work, I’ll go buy the new edition. Nasasayangan lang ako sa chips nya. All three are still quite new. And the new version of magic mic is not compatible with them anymore. sigh.
