I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. And so I dream what I want to dream, go where I want to go and be what I want to be. After all, we only have this one life to do what really matters most.

Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

Hi guys! I came across Alohapenny's blog which led me to Dine Racoma's blog and finally, to this wonderful Pinay initiative called Filipina Writing Project.
This task is very strategic especially these days when we can't help but be put in a bad light as Pinays, even if we do have the power to take over the world (ok, I might be a bit exaggerating here, hehe). It's really very interesting and I salute those who are spearheading/supporting this project for coming up with such a creative endeavor. I hope I can psych myself into write something relevant and
be able to join this worthy cause. It's just that I'm more of a personal blogger than a proactive one. Well, who knows? After all, Janette and all those other bloggers who write so well really did inspire me a lot.
