I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Vangie, Anmarie, Me, Rose, Ninette Vanessa & Peachie
Together with Peter (who by the way is the luckiest man alive), my girlfriends and I went to Cuisine Embassy last Saturday night. The invitation came from Ninette and was extended to our other girlfriends namely Vanessa, Rose, Vangie, Peachie and Anmarie. Vina and Kiko were supposed to follow but due to Vina's condition, she wasn't able to make it (kumain ka na kasi ng gulay, Vina, para lumakas ka…). Mer was also supposed to join us but due to our late dinner last Friday coupled with work the whole day, she just felt so tired that she needed to rest.
We met up at Cuisine Embassy at around 11 pm. There were more people (composed of some commoners, lots of ex-pats, and a bunch of Pinoy celebs) compared to the first and second time we've been there. And what do you know, I didn't only see Pauline Luna with her group friends in the politics including the wife of a certain Miguel Zubiri of Bukidnon (I forgot her name) and Celine Lopez (one of the hottest socialites around and a columnist for Phil. Star), Diana Zubiri (who looked pleasantly plain) also passed by behind Peter, Angelica Jones was in the bathroom with me (and oh what a hoarse gay voice she has!), Sunshine Dizon was doing sweet nothings with her non-showbiz boyfriend in one dark corner table and Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas came in hand in hand with a bunch of bodyguards (So they've reconciled now? After all that beating and name calling?!) I was sooo amused! Oh well! Not that I'm one celebrity fanatic (Hell, no!Notice there are no pictures of them here? Lest I be called a paparazzi!)), it's just really nice to see beautiful people around. If only I could stare at this myriad of pretty and sexy women and gorgeous, hunky boys all night, I would.
Anyway, I can only do so much staring at celebs. They do get boring after a while. So I concentrated on my girlfriends instead and made some major catching up. So catch up, we did…

Of course, the night wouldn't be complete without some buzz going. So I tried a different drink (Goodbye Cosmo!) and ordered Shirley Temple, which I found out for the first time is not an alcoholic drink! Hahaha! Then I ordered Mai Tai which tasted much better. And since we haven't had dinner yet, we also got Maki and Enoki wrapped in bacon and Asparagus wrapped in beef. Tasty!
We went home at around 4am, still high with the booze and sights. So instead of sleeping, Peter and I decided that the day is too young to be wasted in slumber… so… *wink*wink*

We don’t have cable here at home and I seldom read the papers so I don’t really know what’s going on now in the outside/celebrity world. I do hope they work out their marriage. I think the spat they had is but normal for married couples. It’s just that every time it happens, the whole world gets to know it and that’s when things get confusing and more complicated.
