Hi blogosphere! Sorry for not being around lately. Aside from the fact that Smart Bro is really Smart B-R-O-K-E-N, I was just simply enjoying all the free time I have the past several days. Yay!
My grade in MDP is OK (so far). I got 89 putting me at the upper percentile of the class. But it doesn’t end there though. I still have my business case which will comprise 35% of my entire grade, which, will eventually determine if I’ll be able to graduate by September. Oh well. I’m doing everything I can from 8am-8pm every weekday. I think I’m on track with the way things are going with my thesis and I’m also exerting enough effort in the immersion program. So for now I can relax. Another yay!
~~~oOo~~~
This day was a special day for me. Remember those dresses I bought recently? One of them happens to be a really gorgeous haltered, pleated, vintage dress which happens to match my open-toed sexy pumps. So I thought, maybe I should make my hair look special too. That’s when I decided to straighten my hair and sport a temporary new do…
What do you think of my new hair style?
So, this was not only THE day I ironed my hair, but this is also the D-day when Ate Anna and Jeff exchanged vows in the holy sacrament of matrimony.
Dear family and friends gathered at Patio Victoria in Intramuros to witness the binding of these two people’s hearts. It was set to be a lovely garden wedding. Too bad it rained and drenched some visitors (including me in my pretty new vintage dress) but other than that, the short ceremony went perfectly.
I knew Ate Anna from GSIS. She was one of the first few people I befriended because of her easy-going attitude, wit and charm. The first thing that struck me when I first saw her was the fact that she looks like Dawn Zulueta. Yes, she is THAT pretty. And not only that, she graduated Cum Laude from UP and has already finished her masters in Public Administration at the same University. She’s just so smart and talented, Jeff is indeed lucky to have her. And who would’ve thunk that they’d only met in Friendster two years ago?! Golly goodness! It’s really fate.
The lovely couple
At the ceremony, I was able to hang out with my other friends at GSIS who I seldom see because of MDP. I was so happy to see them even for only a couple of hours.
Vangie, Vina, me & Ate Rose
I think one of my bestfriends in GSIS missed me…hehehe.
Guess who has the biggest boobs? Hehehe.
Francis in green shirt and Peter in grey. Ate Rose & Vangie in blue dresses.
Dinner and drinks followed. When everyone was full, games were played and Peter and I won twice! First was the contest for best couple. Each couple simply had to follow what Ate Anna and Jeff would do. So when they french kissed, we simply followed and kissed like there was no tomorrow! Hehehe. The other game we won was puzzle construction. It was pretty easy and we finished first, thus, more prizes for us. Hehehe.
The other lovely couple, hehehe.
There were also amazing fireworks that followed after dinner. Since Jeff is Chinese, it was their tradition to light some fireworks to drive away negative vibes and bring luck and fortune into their marriage.
Finally, photo ops followed before finally calling it a wonderful night and leaving the couple to their honeymoon galore.
Hey John! Tnx! Unfortunately, it’s temporary. Pinlantsa ko lang yan. As soon as it gets wet, it goes back to its curly mode. Hehehe.
