Backtrack II: July 28, 2007, SATURDAY

August 3, 2007

Hi blogosphere! Sorry for not being around lately. Aside from the fact that Smart Bro is really Smart B-R-O-K-E-N, I was just simply enjoying all the free time I have the past several days. Yay!

My grade in MDP  is OK (so far). I got 89 putting me at the upper percentile of the class. But it doesn’t end there though. I still have my business case which will comprise 35% of my entire grade, which, will eventually determine if I’ll be able to graduate by September. Oh well. I’m doing everything I can from 8am-8pm every weekday. I think I’m on track with the way things are going with my thesis and I’m also exerting enough effort in the immersion program. So for now I can relax. Another yay!

~~~oOo~~~
 The other day, CELINE at Mall of Asia had a sale and I was able to I shop for 8 pairs of shoes and 3 vintage 80’s dresses. I couldn’t wait to wear everything! But of course, that’s not possible so I’m taking it one gimmick at a time. Anyway, I wanted to wear my preggy-looking vintage clothes (yeah, Peter & I are sort of thinking of having a baby so I wanna know if I’d somehow look good in them empire cuts). It so happened that one of my best girlfriends was leaving for US and a despedida party was in order. So I got to wear this cute little black sun dress when we met up with Jem at BAZZO BAR in Bluewave (again).
I wasn’t sure then who else were coming. And Jem was only staying until midnight coz she still has to kiss her other friends goodbye & pick up some stuff in her office before finally leaving for the airport. So since Peter and I arrived quite early  that evening, we were able to have proper dinner by ordering other palatable dishes on their menu.
 sisig, krispy kangkong, sweet & sour fish bowl, calamares
Soon enough, Jem arrived and guess who was with her? Dino!!! Our dear friend who’s the lead vocalist of the country’s top reggae band, Brownman Revival. To think I was looking at their website earlier that night to see if they have a gig we can go to after Jem’s despedida. And then, this! It was really turning out to be a good night. Peachie, the beautiful Kendo player  and Jowi, the songbird with the golden voice, arrived a bit later. We ate, we danced and chatted the night away!
