I started this blog in 2006 when I was still a young twentysomething corporate gal seeking happiness and fulfillment at every opportunity. I was on the brink of depression until I decided to take control of my life and choose to be happy. I now work online on my own time, enjoying all the things that give me joy and pleasure, whether at home or while traveling. This blog records and summarizes my adult life's journey.
They say that the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. Most photos on this blog are taken either by me or my husband, Peter. We use our Nikon D40, some with my Olympus u725SW (especially underwater shots) and a few with my Nokia fone (for unexpected photo taking). The more recent underwater shots and videos are taken with the use of GE and Agfaphoto HD recorder. I just realized that this is also a nice venue to practice and showcase my skills in photography! Weeee! ^_^

Another pose with Popsy …
Eating some Mediterranean snack while waiting for our take-out order…
On Popsy’s last day, we headed to Mall of Asia late in the afternoon. We checked out the schedule and bought tickets. After ordering take out from Cafe Mediterranean, we headed to the cinema to watch TRANSFORMERS. Man! The line was still very long and we had to wait for 15 minutes before we got in!
I didn’t really expect much. It’s Peter’s fave characters anyway and I was just there to accompany them. But golly! From the moment the first scene was shown, down to the credits when Star Scream flew out of Earth, I knew I was hooked! I was literally watching at the edge of my seat! It’s now my new all-time favorite movie and I’m willing to watch it again and again and again! It has all the elements I want in a movie — untiring,fast-paced action; perfect comedic timing; a little romantic angle; and a bit of drama just right to warm my heart. And the way they transform and all those fight scenes? They looked so REAL! It’s like Armageddon, The Core, Independence Day all rolled into one but way better!
And the autobots were so fantastic! I just love Bumblebee (Voiced by Mark Ryan) so much! And Optimus Prime (Voiced by Peter Cullen) is indeed how a leader should be. Too bad Jazz (Voiced by Darius McCrary) died. He’s such a cool & somewhat hyper character, someone I can relate to. And Ratchet (Voiced by Robert Foxworth) is soooo nice while Ironhide (Voiced by Jess Harnell) is such a war freak. I have to get an original copy of this movie! It helps that Peter has the DVD copy of generation I & II Transformers. I watched it with him a month ago so I didn’t have a hard time understanding their history and quirks.
Oh, and MIKAELA BANES played by Megan Fox is just so H-O-T. I think I got turned on just watching her.
